I know....isn't it?

All those threads getting so upset about ......trans people being able to do what everyone can already do!

So what is it that is exercising so many of the most prolific and vocal posters in this hot topic?

Iris6667 comes on to troll us, and mumsnet delete our posts. In law XXs are protected by law in some circumstances are they not. Mumsnet what have I done wrong. I woke up as a trans male today so be careful. This rage must is masculine.

Scissorcisters · 10/03/2017 23:48

This rage is masculine sorry out and still on phone

I have also decided that starting from tomorrow I am going to identify as the queen and I expect everyone on here to treat me as such.

You must not speak to me unless I speak to you and you always must address me as Your Majesty.

If you fail to do this then you are all a bunch of ignorant bigots and I will report all your posts to MN for mis-IDing me.

Iris65 · 11/03/2017 00:02

I haven't been back to this thread as I have been busy doing the other stuff that goes in life.

I found out about the controversy because lying in bed thinking about the day I realised that I felt bullied on a couple of threads. so came back to the site to reread what had been posted by me and others on those.

When I looked at the active threads I saw 'Mumsnet Bullying' and in the context of why I am here decided to have a read. It was quite a shock.

I haven't seen or read any of the (reportedly) withdrawn posts - thankfully.

Nor am I going to read any of the others.

All I am doing is providing facts. I like facts. I like discussion. I like being around people who challenge and make me think. I don't want to be around people who call me names, insult me and lets call it as it is bully others.

We are grown ups. I am hurt and sad. Genuinely.

I think Iris asked for my post to be deleted because Iris thinks larger stronger and more violent people deserve more protection over smaller weaker less violent people. Iris is wrong. Iris doesn't like us pointing that out. Iris is a baddy.

Scissorcisters · 11/03/2017 00:10

Seriously if I've bullied anyone I would like to know how? Explain?

Scissorcisters · 11/03/2017 00:12

I hope you do see the deleted posts and explain.

Scissorcisters · 11/03/2017 00:19

Iris I have been strangled and sexually assaulted by males. I am lucky to be alive. Someone interrupted my attack when I thought I was going to die. You do not scare me. Report me all you want. I don't want any women put at more more risk. Women matter.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 11/03/2017 00:20

I suspect Iris started this deliberately because they know people are frustrated at their bad behaviour on other threads where they have derailed and made deliberately inflammatory comments as well as given as good as she has received in the bullying department. Posts are deleted upon request, so it looks like iris or someone else has then sat back and reported anything they don't like. Essentially, this thread was a trap and Iris is tryi g to make themself into the wounded party. There is also now a TAAT about this thread where someone (not speculating on who here) is complaining about the way I ris has been treated. My feeling is that Iris is being today and the best way to treat them is to ignore them, as was suggested on many other threads. Don't get banned fighting g iris. It isn't worth it. Also don't give the threads started by iris attention. Let them sink to the second page ...

Iris, you have been on MN under various pseudonyms over the past couple of months . As today as ever you try to derail threads.

You are not worth the time or effort to engage with as you never bother to yourself.

Scissorcisters · 11/03/2017 00:34

Ok me too, who is Irish???

Irisantibiologymra - spot on scissors.

I'm not usually overly fond of "as a class analysis", but can we examine men here? Lots of trans people are beaten or murdered by men, I can understand why they might therefore want to use the ladies. How in the sainted apple frosted fuckination have we made women who aren't comfortable the bad guys here?

Surely if the violence is centred and solved the rest of it becomes somewhat moot?

DJBaggySmalls · 11/03/2017 01:59

You missed the facts I posted in reply to your post and assumed I am some sort of bully for posting on your thread.
Self identification is not just about mens right to access toilets, it will also give them the right to access other womens only spaces in places such as synagogues, mosques and temples.

It will give predators right of access.
Thats what we are all concerned about so how about you stop taking the mickey out of us for it.

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 11/03/2017 02:02

If a man puts on a dress and walks into the womens only area of a synagogue. mosque or temple he is at the moment breaking the law

Which country's law? There is no law in the UK or I'd guess any western European country which says this. It may be the rules imposed by the owners of the private property comprising the mosque but it is not law.

sainted apple frosted fuckination

I'm writing that one down.

What exactly is so threatening about a penis in a woman only space? I take it you all object as loudly to male cleaners in the ladies loos.

TheWorldAccordingToToads · 11/03/2017 02:27

What exactly is so threatening about a penis in a woman only space?

Someone with a penis in a rape crisis centre may be very triggering and distressing to a woman who has been raped.

Someone with a penis is a woman's DV shelter may also be distressing and threatening to a woman who is fleeing domestic violence.

Someone with a penis competing on a female sports team would be very threatening and potentially even dangerous to the women given that you know people with penises tend to be a lot bigger and stronger than those without.

pincha · 11/03/2017 04:02

I take it you all object as loudly to male cleaners in the ladies loos.
If there is a male cleaner in the ladies' loos then there is usually a sign up to warn you of that fact. There is also the knowledge that the man is known to his employers and identifiable to the authorities and so is unlikely to assault/harass anyone.

celeryeater · 11/03/2017 05:03

How many of you have really been raped/beaten/hurt in sports by a trans woman though. I'm assuming there are other times in life when you need to be alone with unknown men. Like in a park or playground that's quiet, if a man turns the corner and you're alone do you all freak out? Obviously I get that this would be different if you've been raped but that's a very specific situation I don't think you're all referring to all the time. I don't think trans women are as threatening as cis men, and I don't get why you all get so worked up about what is in someone's knickers. In a toilet do you all study every person that comes in? In a toilet I just pee and leave! The cubicles where you pull your pants down (possibly becoming more vulnerable) have locks anyway so you're all freaking out about washing your hands next to someone who is probably minding their own business and getting on with their day. Hmm
