They come up with this.

First post - Why Transwomen Aren't Biologically Male.
www.facebook.com/everydayfeminism/

The comments are encouraging though, that is, the ones that haven't been deleted. Lots of people questioning and calling this out.

Askbasil

The earth is plunged into everlasting night. Riley's Adam's apple has blocked out the sun. But revenge is coming and they will bathe in cis tears, like the slogan on those lovely badges they're selling on Etsy. The terfs will be stomped.

AskBasil · 13/02/2017 21:21

And also why the effing jeffing fuckity doo dah, is it now a sexuality, to sometimes be too tired to have a shag?

Since when is that its own snowflake category?

These people are fucking mental. Fucking Trump is president, women in the USA are being thrown back to the 1950's and these fucking arseholes are spending their time massaging the egos of dysfunctional men adn telling sensible women we should do the same, pausing only to examine their own fucking navels. Absolute batshit arseholes.

Talk about fiddling while Rome burns.

AskBasil · 13/02/2017 21:23

Arf at cis tears.

They only ever mean female cis tears, not male ones.

Not that there's any such thing as female, obviously.

MorrisZapp · 13/02/2017 21:25

Thank you my friends, this is the best and funniest part of the interweb. Makes me proud to be a woman. Or womyn. Or wombyn. I'm cool with all three :)

BenLinusatemyhomework · 13/02/2017 21:28

You should care about people having sexual feelings and not acting on them because... erm... people who have sexual feelings and don't act on them change the ambient temperature of the surrounding air (scientific fact) and makes it less comfortable for people who are sitting in Costa but haven't brought a jumper out with them.

So check your privilege Mx "I don't care about people with sexual feelings who don't act on them" - so selfish.

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 13/02/2017 21:33

God ben you know all that sciency stuff Shock

M0stlyBowlingHedgehog · 13/02/2017 21:35

"Fiddling while Rome burns" - precisely this. And (again, sorry to keep banging on about this) not only do they not give a fuck about women who're going to be forced to give birth (and I suspect in future also denied birth control - make no mistake, Trump and his merry men are planning full on Handmaid's Tale here), they don't give a fuck about their fellow trans folk either. Are they out there doing anything for the poor trans folk in the south who're now having their windows broken and "fag" and swastikas painted on their doors? Are they arse. They're too busy with jerking off online telling women (who I think we can safely say are not the ones threatening the genuine bone-breaking, burn-your-house-down variety of real world violence) to "die in a fire."

Twogoats · 13/02/2017 21:37

I think that Guerella Feminism might be a parody? I hope it is anyway.

venusinscorpio · 13/02/2017 21:39

It's very difficult to tell, given that inexplicably, Everyday Feminism is not a parody.

Gallavich · 13/02/2017 21:44

The LGBTQIA for some reason includes asexual people, which is insane. How are people discriminated against for not wanting or having sexual relationships?

venusinscorpio · 13/02/2017 21:47

YY. Surely everything that talks about sex others and excludes them though? I don't see much consideration for that from sex pos libfems, porn loving male allies or transactivists.

At least the alphabet soup already has a G, so no room for Greysexuality.

HeyRoly · 13/02/2017 21:50

When I was at university it was just LGB, not even LGBT.

All of the extra initials smacks a bit of people being too desperate to be "queer" or "not mainstream". And when I say "people" I mean "teenagers on Tumblr".

venusinscorpio · 13/02/2017 21:52

I'm surprised K for kinky hasn't got in there.

shins · 13/02/2017 21:54

Heyroly I'm so old that my uni just had Gaysoc! How quaint. I mean how cisprivileged and multiple marginalised identity exclusionary.

Gaysoc Grin Love it - short and sweet!

mirrorisnotmyfriend · 13/02/2017 22:13

I found something even more horrific than EF. It's a group where you can APPEAL YOUR BAN from EF by grovelling to a vile repugnant little creep called Sean, you must self crit and recant your terf ways and he will pass down judgement on whether you may be admitted back onto the righteous path. You will require a strong stomach for this one

How are people discriminated against for not wanting or having sexual relationships?

In many ways, if they are women who don't have relationships with men. Other than that though, yeah, not so much.

@mirror: Why on earth would any actual TERF do that? Anyone who grovels to a man does not deserve to be called a TERF, in my opinion.

Gallavich · 13/02/2017 22:22

Yes I get that but that's patriarchy and socialisation. Not because of the asexuality.

venusinscorpio · 13/02/2017 22:23

I know, who does this self important little prick think he is? Why would anyone bother to grovel to him? Here's a shitty article that they espouse as "education" for lesbians. But they're not homophobic, oh no no no.

queerfeminism.com/2012/03/27/the-cotton-ceiling-is-real-and-its-time-for-all-queer-and-trans-people-to-fight-back/

venusinscorpio · 13/02/2017 22:25

Certainly there are individual cases of interpersonal violence that one could bring up involving a perpetrator of any description. But, although I may not be 100% comfortable with the mental image of panty-ripping, I find it ludicrous to suggest that trans women, in pointing out their exclusion from lesbian sexual communities and the relationship between common lack of cis lesbian desire for trans women and the structural problem of cissexism/transmisogyny, are threatening rape of cis lesbians or perpetuating rape culture

venusinscorpio · 13/02/2017 22:27

You're not comfortable with the mental imagery of panty ripping, but you're comfortable guilt tripping women into sex with men?

shins · 13/02/2017 22:29

I'm gonna say it now, with a heavy heart.

No wonder people voted for Trump if this is what's happened to the liberal left.

venusinscorpio · 13/02/2017 22:31

I know.

M0stlyBowlingHedgehog · 13/02/2017 22:34

It's hard to tell from the tiny thumbnail, but at a cursory glance, he even looks a bit like Trotsky. I'm having Animal Farm flashbacks.
