I do hope so Datun, I am currently trying to engage with a TRA on Twitter who posted a tweet re transpeople and suicide - I respectfully asked that if that person knew of suicidal people then to please advise them to seek psychological intervention - it has already descended into a "bathroom bill" argument from his side which totally deflects from my reasoned question which was "my main concern is why young people feel so disaffected that they feel there is only one way out - are you able to explain that to me please?"

A few threads ago someone suggested an MN campaign against medicalising trans-presenting children. It's barbaric that the only options for Fish and her child and others like them are chemo drugs or nothing.

Those suicide statistics need to be held up to more scrutiny. If the attempt to conversion rate, i.e. successful attempts were extrapolated from the figure of 40%, you would see one teen trans killing themselves a week in Britain.

That guy on Fox News really annoyed me with his constant repeating that American teen trans seeking bathroom access were the most vulnerable kids in the country. What, more than victims of domestic violence, child abuse, homeless kids, kids in porn? It really deflects from other issues.

Fucking hell that facebook page is dreadful, what the hell am I reading? I want to laugh at it all but I just find myself wanting to cry. I would post some things on that bloody page if my anxiety didn't stop me!

I find it fascinating that the increasingly strict gender roles around children (toys, activities, clothing and colours etc.) have brought us to this point and the upward trend in figures of children and young people were a little alarming particularly with reference to teenage girls (and comorbidity of other issues involved). I can't see how other people aren't making the connection with a backlash against the gender roles and pressure therein young girls are exposed to on a daily basis.

seafoodeatit, if you mean the EF page, there's no point posting. They delete everything that does not comply with their pro-trans agenda and will likely ban you. I've just looked at Everyday Transactivism and there are FIVE articles on trans rights. These people represent a TINY proportion of the population - how have they managed so successfully to hijack the whole feminist movement??

I'm feeling very proud. My baby 35yo brother was over for dinner and he mentioned the ftt trans teen wrestler in the news this week. We had a hearty discussion, and ultimately he has acknowledged that he had only ever considered the vulnerable trans perspective, and women hadn't factored in his thinking at all. After our discussion, he is still sympathetic to trans people's difficulties (I didn't throw him done the EF rabbit hole), but he will try to enlighten where he can. One down, several million to go...

I've no idea who that is but that person is clearly sexually preoccupied which is not a healthy state of mind. It seems clear to me that the vast majority of young men who are identifying as trans lesbians are porn sick, sexually preoccupied and probably dangerous.

Women aren't factoring in it all accept to be called all sorts of names for not saying they're 'real' women, I find it all very dehumanizing. A bit like the jenner thing with changing records to say a woman won the medals, it's like History is completely being re-written, no that person with a penis is a woman, and as such was always women, anyone who thinks otherwise is a crazy bigot.

DH is starting to wake up to this crazyness, he used to think this was just the latest social media 'cause' and I was worrying over nothing but he's in complete disbelief that children are being transed and all sorts of organisations are becoming censored.
