They come up with this.

First post - Why Transwomen Aren't Biologically Male.
www.facebook.com/everydayfeminism/

The comments are encouraging though, that is, the ones that haven't been deleted. Lots of people questioning and calling this out.

Genetic expert from where? The Mickey Mouse university of dumbfuckery?

If "experts" can't distinguish the difference between sex and gender then we really are screwed.

BBCNewsRave · 22/02/2017 21:25

Is there no opposition that is more coherant and direct than that petition? Which seems to miss the point as a PP mentioned - in fact it sounds like it is of "PC gorn mad" heritage. Hmm

I'm guessing this won't be discussed on Question Time tomorrow? Not that that necessarily reaches a wide auidence... but it's the lack of recognition that it matters.

I am so angry about this. And patriarchy in general. Having a real rage about it all right now and don't know what I can do that's useful!

Gender identity as a protected characteristic is fine, if it means no discrimination for housing, jobs, that sort of thing. But why does that mean it should trump biological sex? I hope when the inevitable happens it's only handmaidens who gets hurt, not those speaking out against this already.

Jaffa Cake is a biscuit or a cake A Jaffa Cake is a Jaffa Cake. When it has to pay tax, it is a cake, and when it wants to earn money, it is on the biscuit aisle. Interesting analogy.

WTAF! Apparently, we now NEED to support trans rights. Even though they are actively fighting to remove ours, and try to silence us when we talk about issues that are important to us because it hurts their feelings.

The good thing is that this was published on HuffPost Women's FB page and at least half of the comments are gender critical. They don't seem to be deleting them, either. In a way it's good that shit like this gets published as it opens more women's eyes to what's going on.

I love the way it pauses to link to their other wanky article about why it was totally cissexist.

And I particularly enjoyed this bit:

Unless you are a puppy (omg hi) or a sentient robot (omg congrats on your inevitable usurping of the human race), you also fall into one or more of the above mentioned categories, and probably a whole lot more I haven't mentioned, too.

Omg, I'm only 12 and I actually got some crappy online site to publish my poorly written, vacuous, po-faced thoughtpiece!!!

venusinscorpio · 24/02/2017 11:07

about why the women's march was totally cissexist.

mirrorisnotmyfriend · 24/02/2017 11:12

But the more they keep churning out this whiny nonsense, the more women will hit peak trans.....they're their own worst enemies.

And I won't be following any of the transpeople you recommend on twitter, thanks all the same. I won't be "amplifying Riley J Dennis's voice" in saying that lesbians who don't want dick are transphobic. And yes, I do still consider myself a feminist.

venusinscorpio · 24/02/2017 11:14

Indeed, mirror. Bring it on.

HeyRoly · 24/02/2017 11:25

Facebook suggested to me yesterday that but I might like Danielle Muscato's page. Yeah right, Facebook Hmm

I was surprised to find that nearly 15,000 people follow it.

CaroleService · 24/02/2017 12:08

For the laffs, probably

MercyMyJewels · 24/02/2017 12:19

Just saw this on twitter. Quite accurate I think

HeyRoly · 24/02/2017 12:19

I hope.

I mean, it was funny for all the wrong reasons. I had to go and look. Posting a selfie of a bearded face saying "it's a big deal for a transwoman like me, showing my stubble, even one like me who doesn't take hormones". Oh, how I laughed Confused

Just saw a TA on Facebook tell a TERF that she's creepy as fuck for her obsession with genitals. Seen that narrative a few times now - TERFS are disgusting weird perverts who define people by their genitals.

Love that twitter pic!

In what context, the cotton ceiling? I've seen it lots too.

Datun · 24/02/2017 17:33

We all know it's because they want to dodge the issue.

I get so pissed off when they say it's 'rude'. Rude to ask if you have a vagina seeking missile in your cami knickers?

Gaslighting.

Glitteryunicorn · 24/02/2017 19:47

Most of the articles I've read that are pro trans sound like they've been written by 12 year old Hmm

My favourite part
How to be a good ally listen first, then speak do not speak over

How to be a good TA speak over everyone, keep speaking, if anyone else dare speak call them a TERF and make vile and violent threats....give the good allies who STFU and make sympathetic noises while you speak over them a pat on the head but keep reminding them of their cis privilage and cisexist possession of a vagina and breasts at every opportunity just in case they forget your talking so no one else gets to talk.

So one thing I've been thinking about if the gender identity bill goes through and they do get access to female toilets will we then be forced to remove San Pro dispensers from women's toilets? Because seeing it everytime they just want to pee will be triggering etc.?
If you are in the bathroom with your friend having a normal conversation centered around your biology which thousands of women must have everyday
Will I be called a bigot if I mention my bodily functions while a Trans woman is in the vacinity within a female space?
Will we have to police our cisexist conversations while in the bathroom? Because once they have access that's not going to be enough is it and where will it end?

Glitteryunicorn · 24/02/2017 19:50

Apologies for the complete lack of appropriate punctuation in that post, hopefully it doesn't offend your eyes. Blush

Trans women don't have wombs, vulvas, ovaries, they can't get pregnant, or feed children from their breasts. Of course these words trigger them, it reminds them they're male. The human race has an innate urge to reproduce, we cannot be replaced at this moment in time. We create with life with men and give birth to human beings. Our bodies are amazing. They want to be us, but can never be us, so hate us. They can go after our rights, bully us, imitate us, demonise us (terfs) do what ever they want. They can push their agenda with the liberal left, get access to our safe spaces but they are not female, and that fuels their rage. We should pity them really.

SoulSearcher101 · 24/02/2017 22:47

Just had a look at the Gender Identity petition that is doing the rounds - almost 10,000 signatures: citizengo.org/en-gb/pc/41304-say-not-dangerous-gender-identity-bill?tc=fb&tcid=32808372

transgenderreality.com/tag/jealousy/

Yes, some TW talk about the hate and jealousy they sometimes feel for women.
