I have heard it said on here that the offending rate for transgender people remains at the same level of their birth sex rather than reduce (or increase) to that of their new gender. This includes violent and sex crimes. Does anyone have a link to corroborate this?

I just wrote this on the Transgender Trend Site and am reproducing it here in the hope that MN letter writers will not forget these girls too.

The service you are providing is absolutely crucial. Thank you. I do have one request of letter writers, though. This is that they remember girls without parents to care for them or whose parents are unable to provide advocacy for them. Often these are the most vulnerable ‘looked after children’ in the care system or in the juvenile justice system. Many of these girls have been sexually abused. Some have been abused to the point where they accept abuse as normal. Many have a range of mental health conditions ranging from PTSD to anxiety or depression, etc. These girls should have the right and access to heath facilities, care homes and justice facilities where (if appropriate) they are housed only with other girls. They should have the right to workers who are women and foster placements with at least one carer in a household who is a woman. The Equality Act of 2010 is not strong in its support of single-sex (girls’) spaces that may exclude people with male genitalia*.

When writing your letters I ask of you that you don’t forget these girls or their situations. They have few people to speak up for them because most in the social care sector either support the trans agenda or are too scared to oppose it. Please include a note or two about these children and their needs.

*I’m not advocating that boys on Puberty Blockers and/or with female/feminine characteristics be placed in with other males either – I’m just saying that girls’ rights and needs should not be forgotten in order to protect them.

Although I wrote to my MP after the Cologne attacks and she clearly has me pigeonholed as a racist bigot, as she sent me a mealy mouthed reply and has never added me on to her distribution list. My DH who wrote to her about transport issues gets stuff from her all the time and he is far more of a racist bigot than me

The study of offending rates that I have seen for this claim studied the behaviour of 191 male and 133 female transgendered people (in Sweden). This study is widely condemned by many transgendered people and their supporters because of the small sample size and because of the way it has been used to characterize all transwomen as a group.

This is in stark contrast to two studies favoured by some transactivists. One study was of only 46 intersex people, the other study was of only 16 genetic males who were assigned female at birth. Some academics in the field of gender identity claim that the first, intersex, study is "the most convincing evidence that gender identity is fixed", and the academics also claim for both studies that "Although the cohort sizes in these studies were small, the data provide the strongest evidence for the biologic underpinnings of gender identity". These tiny studies are used by transactivists to support their claim that everyone is born with a fixed gender identity.

I do applaud everyone who is doing this.

I will pen my own letter to my MP who is anti gay marriage, I'm not, though I feel that marriage is an institutionalised system, designed to be only fit for purpose for men. It will be interesting to read her response.

My MP is a total & utter arse (against gay rights/ women's rights/abortion etc) so although I've written I don't see them doing anything about it…

I don't believe in seeing events in isolation. The Cologne attacks and the way that violence against women was silenced and minimised both initially by the local German authorities, then the German government and then most of the world media is to me congruent with the way that women's objections to some of the ramifications of transmania have been minimised, ridiculed and silenced.

The issues are similar actual and potential violence against women and women's access to public spaces without fear of violence.

I'm getting so fucking tired of all the fake hand-wringing about "violence against women" that is done when politicians and others want to virtue signal and show that they are 'right on' when looking for votes and approval when they then ignore or minimise actual and potential instances and causes of such violence when it might involve them being critical of other minorities. The clear message is that despite the rhetoric women come last and must go back to our traditional gendered role of being sweet and subservient and putting others' needs first, even if it does result in us / girls being assaulted, raped and murdered.

FUCK THAT. Violence by men against women must stop. No ifs. No buts. No loophole clauses. IT MUST STOP NOW.

I will be interested to see the response, as I am in N Ireland and women's rights are not exactly a priority with my MP, and yet I can't imagine him being supportive of trans rights either...
