I'm so disappointed that thread was deleted. In among all the yelling and dross, there were some excellent points. Perhaps the topic could be resurrected at a later date whenever it gets less weird around here.

Yes, I'm surprised that the full thread was deleted, given the derail was de facto forced into the buffers.

Does MNHQ ever undelete? I'd rather it was all still out there - prevents history being rewritten. Just the original, not the TAAT.

Evening all. I'm not normally on the pub thread because I'm crap at keeping up with long running threads! But I saw you on here lifesosweet and just wanted to say sorry your thread got deleted. There were some really good points and posts on it and its a shame. I don't think MNHQ needed to delete it.

While I'm here a nice large glass of Shiraz wouldn't go amiss and a packet of peanuts. Is there any room near the fire. Work is alternating between being freezing in the morning and roasting in the afternoon. Neither the boiler or the air con is working. It's great. My body temperature is all amok.

I see that dickhead is now posting on a different thread. It sucks. I think probably the previous thread being deleted just gave him what he wanted.

Sorry to lose so many good posts. (I didn't see the deletion messages as I had hidden the threads in question). Have the two derailers been shown the door, or can we look forward to their continued contributions?

(I saw one of them over on dadsnet saying how evil we all were, and also admitting to having been banned from another parenting board for sexism and transphobia! His contributions on dadsnet led one of the other posters to say "so, you see yourself as a sort of cross between Jesus and batman".)
