Having been directed to this test by someone who has come to mn to enlighten us all as to how we are all wrong to think "trans are in league with the devil" (wtf?!) and how "yes gender is not provable, but neither is God and we all believe he is real" (again wtf?!), I decided to have a go. Apparently it is used as part of the diagnostic procedure, though this person does seem to be posting from Amercia.

I will warn you, it is a truly awfully written and unbelievably biased piece of bullshit, featuring spelling mistakes, leading questions, and at one point the wrong "there"!! It didn't take too long though, and thanks to it I now know that I am a man. There are issues with some questions raised that can easily be 'answered' by my asd, so it's a tad biased there too.

I got 'woman and happy with it' and so did a couple of others. A lot of the questions were impossible to answer, so I ended up going with a slightly more 'female' answer, mainly because 'eroticaorresentment' I do perform femininity and I am bad at parking and DIY, so I guess it's a good job I wasn't born a boy!

I wonder what everyone answered to imply they are anallophilic? I googled and apparently it's an old sciencey word for asexual. Google took me to an Aspie forum where they were discussing this exact test......!!

That's the problem isn't it? It is funny to see how ludicrous it is, but if there are people (like the OP in the other thread) treating it as an actual diagnostic tool, and recommending it to other - possibly vulnerable - people, then that's hugely harmful.

What percentage of people taking that test will be told that they are in the wrong body? Going by the answers in here, mostly women who don't even buy into the whole gender is innate shit, that's going to be ridiculously high when it's given to those who are already swayed by it.

How the fuck did they come up with asexual from those answers? Is it the absence of a French Maid outfit?

I do have one friend who is totally uninterested in sex, likes fast cars and large horses, and winds down with needlework. Shall I get her to do the test, and see if it keels over?
