Of course it's been driven by the religious right wing. But it does aim to achieve what many posters here appear to advocate - namely that biological males can only use men's toilets and changing rooms etc. Biological females must only use women's toilets and changing rooms. Will it gain wider support?

I will use the phrase WRONG SIDE OF HISTORY as much as I want as often as I want. It is not breaking any MN guidelines. It will serve to show (in years to come) that not everyone on MN subscribed to the prejudiced, unfair and bigoted views about Trans gender people.

For what it's worth... I, like a lot of women, was totally cool and right-on and ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF HISTORY until cotton ceilings and female penises, and violent offenders with penises being moved into male prisons. Rape crisis centres being sued to hire transwomen, understanding that if someone says they are female, even with a full beard and a penis I would be considered TERFy to refuse to let them do my smear, or counsel me after a rape or any one of a million things when it is important to me to have a women (sex woman) rather than someone socialised as a male.

So in time I have moved from being on the RIGHT to the WRONG SIDE OF HISTORY. I've invented time travel. I'm a fucking genius.

And after all therez no need for anyone trans or not to need segregatiin because its not nice to think of some men as being a threat or dangerous. So unisex seems logical. After all
