There is an absolute dearth of non-alcoholic, non-sweet, cold, adult drinks I think.

I end up buying non-alcohol beer just to have something savoury to drink in the evenings, to fill the gap of real alcohol, which obviously it wouldn't be good to drink all the time....

There's not a lot. Fentimans ginger beer is my favourite non alcoholic grown up drink.

I've been enjoy9ng a few childfree days, tidied up on Tuesday and its still tidy! Don't have to go to work and I'm not even dressed yet

Lime and soda is my default.

I am boring though. I asked for lime and soda last night but apparently the only included non-alcoholic option was this ginger thing so I went with that. It was pleasantly refreshing and served with all the celebratory trimmings, fancy glass, slice of lime.

Hi, I'm just going to come in and hide in a quiet corner by the fireplace for a bit. I'm separating from my abusive H and it's chaos and madness at home, he goes from nice to nasty in a heartbeat. I'm exhausted, not sleeping, feeling on the verge of an anxiety attack constantly. Holding it together for DCs but only just. Sorry for dragging the atmosphere down but I think there's a chance H won't find me in the pub.

EElis sorry to hear about your difficult separation, I hope the house with nice vibes works out. My sister is just coming out of a similar sounding relationship and she's so much happier now her and her dcs are settled in their new house (and she didn't even get good vibes from it when she first saw it, it was 'good enough' and in her price range - lovely now she's decorated it)

I'm having a lovely Thursday so far. Dd1 got her GCSE results this morning and has done fabulously well, so we're going out for dinner later to celebrate.
