Ooh ooh! Do I get to start it?

Wine and cake all round. And a celebratory burst on the patriarchy-blasting cannon!

Old pub here

I've made an offer on a lovely house. It's the last step in getting away from my violent abusive STBXH. Please think positive thoughts for me!!

Sounds fun erinaceus.

I'm thinking either crisp sandwiches or takeaway tonight. No DC.

Hope you enjoy your dim sum. EnvySmile

I fancy a cup of tea but a 4am start with youngest means I'm too tired to go make it.

You have a REAL social life, Erin?

Did you clear that with the Humourless Feminist committee?

I'm going for dim sum. Any suggestions? I won't be at the pub tomorrow either. I'm going to a gig.

Busy round here this week.

Why the fuck does my autocorrect think ex pimento is more likely than experiment? It's an anti science backlash I tell you!

Jacquetta what have you been up to?

I got unreasonably protective of the board the other day after a poster said there is no proper feminism on MN any more because we don't discuss things like the gender pay gap. So I'm trying an ex pimento due to a topical news item. Let's see how many people actually want to discuss the gender pay gap 😁

Sounds lovely Never

I do not garden, as a rule, but I will water the pot plants, as long as I remember to do so.

I usually work somewhere with a lot of green space and outside space. Today I am working from an industrial estate. It is funny how I do not realize how much I value being able to look out of the window, until I am sat for hours in a windowless room.

Good morning all!

I still haven't had any luck finding a gardener. But I'm embracing the wilderness look and planted bulbs instead. It's finally rained and I think it might be time for grass seeds too. And we want a tub of bamboo...

But I need to do some work first!!!

Yes. In some areas, for example urban areas where few properties have their own garden, there is a real shortage of allotments and a long waiting list to get one. So I think that whilst the sheep might have a way to travel, the whole thing could be pulled off somehow.

That sounds like a great idea. I did hear once on the radio about this farmer who goes and graze her sheep in people's garden as lawnmower...

Report
erinaceus · 02/09/2016 22:38

Never I have heard it suggested that people who wish they had a garden get matched with people who have gardens that need to be gardened, a bit like Borrow My Doggy.

I like this idea.

Rage away, Felas, rage away. I wave my angry fist at the patriarchy.
