It's the most amazingly glorious day here. Blue skies and sunshine. Everywhere smells of freshly cut grass. You can keep your soggy island.

Don't be jealous of my balcony. I'd much rather have a garden. Besides, I live in a first floor flat, which means I don't even have the best view. People in the upper flats can see much further, probably even to the sea.

Evening pubbers, non regular popping in if that's ok

So, I was very impressed today when giving a police statement that at no time was I asked for a title of any kind!
My first and last names seemed perfectly fine enough for the nice officer jotting down my witterings. Lots of other personal details given but seems that the police do not consider it necessary to know my marital or otherwise status.

Sad that I found this suprising enough to comment to friends and then post it here though I guess.
