The newspaper claims that the "measures seem to take aim at female pleasure" and that they're "arbitrary" choices to make....I'm not sure what part of the list other than female ejaculation is synonymous with female pleasure though!

The writer is scathing about the bans.

Although veiwers in the UK will be able to continue to watch pornography including the above, it will no longer be legal to make such films here.

Grey I read about it quite extensively a while ago (can't remember why - it's never happened to me!) and from what I can gather the ejaculate is sometimes expelled from the urethra and sometimes from the vagina, which suggests that there are different things going on for different women. I guess in the case of porn it's a balance of probability thing - if you're making a female ejaculation movie, you're going to have to be able to do it reliably, and weeing on demand is more likely to happen that whatever the mysterious vaginal ejaculation thing is. So no urination in porn = no depiction of female ejaculation.

I don't watch porn but the one change in the law I'd like to see would be mandatory condom use because that would rain on their parade good and proper .

Women involved in making feminist/ethical porn have been concerned for a while that increased censorship is going to target everything but the sort of porn that straight men enjoy. EG (repeating a point from one of the articles) women being made to gag on a penis is still acceptable, but anyone throwing up who appears to be enjoying it is not acceptable.

I think banning those things does sound like a good idea but I am a bit at the quote saying it's "taking aim at female pleasure"

SGB just read that first article you linked. Totally agree with it. It also seems that the BDSM community are particularly being targeted by this list. Why? Anyone who knows anything about BDSM knows that it is consensual and respectful ( unlike some of the other acts mentioned that haven't been banned). Just WHO came up with this list???

I'm not sure why the BDSM community would feel targeted because surely what they do in their own homes - consensual, safe, and happy - is completely different from what's being portrayed on screen? And obviously they already know that some of what they do is seen as taboo and in the wrong light, potentially abusive?

Interested to hear opinions and be put straight by the way, I obviously can't sympathise with that community because I'm only into it lightly.
