Bless him, he still thinks that charities are run by dear sweet elderly ladies of a certain class who knit socks for our brave boys.... or some such shit. Charities have always been political, The Emancipation Movement, Women's Sufferage, The Rowntrees, Banardo and on and on. He maybe needs to give his head a bit of a wobble.
