Without wishing to get into the indyref topic in substance, I'm intrigued by Cameron, Milliband and Clegg going up to Scotland today. My overall impression of the discussion between Westminster and the Yes campaign (not between Yes and No Scots) has been:
Scotland: "I'm thinking about leaving you"
Westminster: "what's that dear?"
S: "I said I'm thinking about leaving you"
W: "Hmm"
S: "Did you hear me? I'm thinking about leaving you"
W: "well if you do that, I'll take all the money, you'll have to pay your share of the credit card, I'll put a lock on the garden and tell all our friends you can't join us anymore. Oh and I'll also take the telly. Really, you need to stay."
S: "Well if that's your attitude, I'm off"
W: "No please stay, look I love you really. See - I've just put your picture on the wall."
My DH (who is not Scottish) has commented that it's like the Westminster policitians don't know any Scottish people (although maybe that's just me he's talking about).
I know this isn't really FWR but I'm too scared to post this on the indyref thread
