"7. ‘When you give them a blow job and they start f***g your face as if you don’t have a gag reflex. How about I’m sick all over your penis?’"

Farting in your face??? wow that certainly would make one sick

TereseaGreen · 06/05/2014 17:44

Mazupan Where do you get the impression that the metro "article" is a Feminist one? It appears to have been collated from a poll on Facebook. It's a terrible article agreed but I am interested in what makes it Feminist?

DebbieOfMaddox · 06/05/2014 17:44

Enough women are anally penetrated without consent that it makes it onto a "top 21 things women don't like in bed" list, and your response is "well, no one would care if men were complaining about being anally penetrated would they?"

A litany of instances of sexual assault (because that's what a lot of those are) gets published as a lighthearted "hey, guys, check out this list of cer-aazzy things that APPARENTLY women don't like" piece, rather than a "WTF is wrong with our basic notions of sexual consent that these are the kind of things we get in response to a 'tell us what bugs you about your partner' prompt?" article, and all you can say is "well, you wouldn't like it if I complained about things women do in bed"?

It is frankly terrifying that this kind of behaviour is normalised now, in 2014. What on earth is happening to us as a society?

DebbieOfMaddox · 06/05/2014 17:47

Do you have a daughter, mazupan?

I think the article is intended for a female audience so they can read it and titter about men having "smelly sacks" and the other crap in the article.

"Do you have a daughter, mazupan?"

Why do you ask? And why do you only want to know if I have a daughter and not any sons?

And the picture has a woman putting her foot in a man's face. I bet you chuckled at that and thought "you go girl!" to yourself when you saw that

mazupan · 06/05/2014 18:21

"Why do men sometimes get it so wrong?"

Or to put it another way, why do women have such high expectations and expect men to be perfect in bed?

It all depends on perspective.

Again imagine the genders reversed and there was a pic of a man putting his foot in a woman's face. There would be an outroar and a flood of complaints if that was the case.

mazupan · 06/05/2014 18:28

"27. ‘Not cleaning properly. It’s not attractive to taste urine.’"

Well guess what it ain't attractive to taste fish either (unless it's on my dinner plate).

If it's "misogynist" to point out it's unpleasant to give oral on an unwashed woman, then by the same logic the article must be misandrist for pointing out it's unpleasant to give oral on an unwashed man?

If one takes something a feminist writes and then writes the same thing but with the genders swapped one gets accused of being "misogynist".

Double standards much?

mazupan · 06/05/2014 18:39

If you lot all think men are rapists who wear baggy boxers (quote from the metro's feminist "eeewwwww!!!") and have smelly sacks and penises feel free to leave men alone.

mazupan · 06/05/2014 18:40

Again, if a man said "eewww" because of a woman's choice in underwear you would be quick to shout "misogynist"

Thouneedsbedamned · 06/05/2014 18:44

Where does it state this is a feminist article? Most of the responses here (on the Feminism boards) have expressed just how much they dislike the article. If it was aimed at feminists then they have missed the mark.

All articles aimed at women are not feminist. That notion is quite silly really.

You seem to enjoy making generalisations about feminists and women in general. This is interesting. Do you assume we all conduct ourselves in the same manner or is it easier to assume we all do in order for your theories to carry some perceived validity?

The Metro is the same company as the Daily Mail. I'm sure they'll take your complaint ever so seriously and give their sincere word it will never happen again.

mazupan · 06/05/2014 18:50

The woman who wrote that article is a feminist. No doubt about that.
