I've only heard the term used by non-prostitutes and nordic-model supporters.

I'm not a pimp, but that word is thrown around so often these days it has almost lost all meaning. I've seen sexworkers on other sites accused of being pimps just for supporting Amnesty or speaking out against the nordic model.

The thing about Rachel Moran is that "I didn't see her " is not good evidence that someone wasn't at a particular place 20 years ago in the middle of the night. Good evidence would be "I worked at McDonald's / shared a flat with Rachel Moran 20 years ago and she wasn't as she described herself". Given that she's very high profile, someone would pop up to say this if she were lying.

Pimps and punters are stupid though so it's not surprising they can't get their minds around that. It's the same stupid thinking that a transwoman lying about prostitution in another country for another reason is in any way relevant. Swearing an affidavit does not turn bad evidence into good evidence.

I agree Flora. If Rachel Moran was lying, she would have lived and worked somewhere. And people would have known her and could have proved she was lying.
