Worth £16 billion in Germany. Legal to "make it safer".

Interview with 22 yr old Hannah. 6 men per night, earns 100 to 1000 euros per night,

Talking about should it be illegal in the UK and the fact that brothels are safer than the streets. They have super brothels in Germany.

Migsy no real man would want their child's mother having sex with strangers for money in order for their child to have contact with him. A real man would always find a way to see or support their child.

This man is not worthy of your child and he really is not a good role model. Hopefully when you get out of this trap you can find someone who can be.

As we've said before there are safe places you can go.

FloraFox · 17/03/2014 07:27

migsy if you allow this man to be involved with your son's upbringing, you can be almost certain your child will end up as a punter or a pimp himself. Any man who would pimp out the mother of his child will pass on those values to his son. Is that what you want for your child?

peppercorrn · 17/03/2014 08:28

piffle

peppercorrn · 17/03/2014 08:33

On the topic of pimping a prostitute on Twitter was recently pointing out as she has dyspraxia and has difficulty reading timetables, asking her husband to buy a train ticket for her would legally make him a "pimp" and leave him open to arrest.

TheDoctrineOfSnatch · 17/03/2014 08:41

If that's true, presumably similar applies for a husband buying his wife a ticket to go to London and rob a bank - aiding and abetting or similar.

In reality, has a case like that ever been prosecuted?

peppercorrn · 17/03/2014 08:44

And on the topic of Rachel Moran's book I looked at some reviews on Amazon...

Some are saying it isn't much of a "story" and she doesn't share many of her (alleged) experiences, all the way throughout it reads like a college Women's Studies student's paper on prostitution and is mostly about her opinions on prostitution and how "disgusting" men are for paying for sex.

One reviewer said they found them-self skimming through paragraphs as it was all so samey.

peppercorrn · 17/03/2014 08:44

Can consensual prostitution really be compared to robbing a bank??

DoctorTwo · 17/03/2014 08:46

Ooh, a PBP. How lovely that you came back to educate us. Thank you from the heart of my bottom.

TheDoctrineOfSnatch · 17/03/2014 08:48

Insert any other crime you like, pepper - shoplifting, graffiti writing etc.

Again, has a case like the Twitter hypothesis ever been prosecuted?

TheDoctrineOfSnatch · 17/03/2014 08:49

Hang on - not everyone on Amazon book reviews likes a book?

Hold the front page.

So, some people on Amazon didn't like Rachel Moran's writing because it didn't have enough gratuitous rapin' and arsehole rippin' going on ?

A bit samey, you say ?

Interesting

horsetowater · 17/03/2014 10:09

The point is, peppercorn, it IS disgusting for men to pay women for sex. It is normal and healthy for them to find a way to meet the right woman and for the woman to have sex with them for free.

It's sad that this warped view of human relationships has clung on into the 21st century. I genuinely would like to know how on earth this has happened. We can't blame it on the internet and mobile technology.

SabrinaMulhollandJjones · 17/03/2014 10:28

[LOL] at the train ticket thing. I can hear a barrel being scraped somewhere...

SabrinaMulhollandJjones · 17/03/2014 10:36

I just caught the end of Woman's Hour with the punters on - they are indistinguishable from the punters on here, they make the same arguments. One of them thought 'they both enjoy the sex'. How are they that stupid?

Punters: - deluding themselves all the way to the cashpoint.

horsetowater · 17/03/2014 10:44

LOL!

Is there a thread here on the Womens Hour reports?

It does slightly remind me of the Child Love people. I remember a programme with them on once, a round the table mediated discussion. Surprisingly similar arguments - fighting for 'children's rights', saying that it was 'their choice', they enjoyed it. :( It was on very late and was never shown again. Half the (adult) victims walked off the set. It's ingrained in my mind forever. And the arguments posed by the punters are exactly the same, their entitled delusion is exactly the same.

Some people can convince themselves of virtually anything. Don't make it true.
