it actually brings me onto more serious talk, more feminist talk, i dont think women really appreaciate the affect their bodies have on men.
in an evolutionary sense they do, from the more time women spend on their wardrobe and looks .
but the way men react to female nudity is responsable for many problems , burquas for instance, if the female body is that powerful , "better cover it before she corupts us all"
or the fact so many witches were burnt in the 1700's , if a woman only has to undress to make a man feel different what other powers might she have ?

in contrast a woman might giggle when she see's a dick, but she isnt eaten with desire even it it does have a bowtie!

Penises aren't pretty, but are breasts or vulvas? You can check 'em all on that Embarrassing Bodies site. I really don't see any point in commenting on isolated body parts; we all ought to know what it takes to make a complete human body. If you've got one where all the parts more or less function properly, it's something to be thankful for. And if you happen to see another one, you may as well appreciate it. Or just take it for granted.

Bonnie, there are pictures of vulva and breasts too. I linked to the penises because of a thread where the op was worried about her child's size. I aimed to reassure- and I knew there would be giggling too, but it's a great site and very informative.

Chairman, not at all. Women have usually been brought up to supress their sexual apetites and adhere to a certain behaviour on matters of sex. Think it's Andrea Dworkin states that she doesn't believe women could desire to be impregnanted. Which I have to disagree with.

Does that include the full panoply of them, as shown on the Embarrassing Bodies site, or just the young-looking firm ones? Recently there was a discussion about whether bras are necessary, and someone said a relative's breasts were "grotesquely saggy"--I hope you'd call those pretty also.

How can all breasts be viewed as equally 'pretty', and why do you suggest all should be ?

I think feet are the most beautiful things when they are attached to babies but certainly think once we get to a certain age they are anything but.

teitetua sorry to keep harping on about the sauna but it does change one's outlook slightly, nudity and sex end up in different boxes in your head, unless you chose to put them together. but anyway, yes, all breast/bodies are beautiful, and you see everything from the skinnyest to the most enormous people at the sauna.

what you never see ( well, i have never seen) at the sauna is the porn ideal , peroxide/silicone/shaved nipped and tukked bodies, and i doubt a body could still be classed as beautiful after that sort of butchering.

i also know i'm not the only guy to think this way, i wonder why the media/porn industry keep plying us with the same over-sexualised and false imagery when it really isnt that sexy and does untold damage to teenage girls.

what you posted could be applied equaly to men, about suppressing sexual appetites, it isnt done to show your excitment. when i was a teenager, 25 years ago (oh god!) some of the girls i knew had their bedroom walls plasterd with semi-naked men, some boy-bands, curiosity killed the cat, or prince, but also male modles like nick kamen. they certainly diddnt have a problem expressing there sexuality.
