Since it looks like the first chat thread is about to fill up, here's the next one all ready and waiting.

Think of it as the gated commune with babysitting on demand and gorgeous poolboys serving the drinks :o

Maybe the Middle Eastern Airline were prepared to shell out on a cushion for her. Or let her bring her own.

Confused
ElephantsAndMiasmas · 24/03/2011 15:58

How can this be?

How can "the most typical" person in the world be a man? Let alone a 28 year old Han Chinese one?

I am very puzzled as to how they could possibly have worked this out. Surely there are more women than men, for a start?

oh no I've just ranted about sexism and misogyny at the poor student fundraiser who rang up to try to get me to give money to my old college Blush

still it was her own fault for asking me how my career was going. by now they should have a note on my page on the database 'She has small children - DO NOT ask her about her career!'

trouble is then she told me about her friend who was about to get the top of her architecture firm and had twins and it all went pear-shaped, we ended the conversation thoroughly depressed Sad

Oh ssm :(

ouzel - my friend is 5'4" so able to reach what you need to I presume. I don't know whether she uses a cushion but she's still flying, two children and ten years on :)

Come back soon engelbert - I will miss you and hope your new house is lovely

well good luck with the move!
the kids will be fine on airbeds, I slept on one for months when I bought my first house and ordered a bed and it took ages to come.

Airbeds are fine! They are very comfy if they're pumped up alright. I slept on one for about two months when I was a kid :) (and that was in the seventies when they were much more horrible than they are now)

sethstarkaddersmackerel · 24/03/2011 22:52

you just have to top them up every few days
