Sorry, but I haven't been conscious of the thread's being a C&P marathon. People are quoting, for sure, but often from life. That is: most of these comments seem to have the ring of life about them.

the point is, these aren't original arguments. It's not about which poster said what, it's common recurring arguments that are always trotted out whenever anything feminist is debated. They can be found on any forum, not just MN.

isnt it ironic to call other women names like antifeminist and snigger about them and their pov.whilst bemoaning the misunderstood nature of feminism and name calling of feminists

it is about putting some of the common myths about feminism, the crap ones that we constantly hear being bandied about in the effort to make us STFU, down in black and white to refute them

it's not name calling to state a pov as anti-feminist, if it is. People aren't being called Feminist as an insult when they state a feminist pov, they're called other derogagtory things which actually is name-calling.
