What's wrong with wanting to stay at home with children? Feminists would all have us working.

Hate to spoil the light hearted mood but;

Can we turn this around, please? I'm getting very depressed, and thinking of abandoning this thread, even though I know I shouldn't.

Maybe we can have some comebacks to these things, smart-mouthed, angry, or funny - doesn't matter, as long as it is more empowering than all the disempowering things being repeated here. (Yes, I know I said something, but I didn;t conside the effect of a full thread of these things).

By all means, keep posting "anti-feminist bingo" calls, but a few counter-calls would be welcome, too.

I'll start with :
"'they should think more about their children" - and the sort of world those children should grow up in

Tricky, because it implies an unwillingness to see others' points of view, but what about raising the "helpmeet" ghost (sharing burden of Man), or pointing out the brutal reality of any kind of rape of females (stranger or marital): men are generally stronger, and what is better, sex or death?
