I was thinking of starting a book club on here for people who are keen readers. I normally read true life memoirs like 'My Sisters Keeper'.

I was thinking we could choose a book to read. Allow a couple of weeks to read it, then when you have finished, come on here to discuss thoughts etc...

Anyone interested let me know asap! Just finished a book and want to start a new one!

wendy33 · 30/05/2005 19:18

Hi

Anyone up for a read of a different book while we wait for the others to read TTC?

Please say yes!

I have a Patricia Cornwell waiting in my wardrobe begging to be read!

OP posts:
Cybermum · 30/05/2005 20:06

Yes!!

I've almost finished TC and am going away tomorrow for a couple of days - an excellent reading opportunity

Must admit I'm not too enthusiastic about Patrica Cornwell don't know why as I've never read any of her books. That sounds a bit prejudiced!! Perhaps you could convince me.

In my cupboard I have Shadow of the Wind (I wonder why?), Angels and Demons (but you've probably all read that one).

Any other ideas out there?

Nemo1977 · 30/05/2005 20:17

ive just started a book called out of the darkness about a woman suffering depression.jury is still out on whether or not its a good read

weesaidie · 30/05/2005 20:23

I haven't started TC yet as am very broke but I am planning on getting it this week, I am a fast reader so I could easily do more than 1 month.

Still some people don't have time so I am happy to go with one a month... however if you read another I will certainly see if I can too!

Nemo1977 · 30/05/2005 20:23

weesadie if u want i can send u my copy..just cat me
