I was thinking of starting a book club on here for people who are keen readers. I normally read true life memoirs like 'My Sisters Keeper'.

I was thinking we could choose a book to read. Allow a couple of weeks to read it, then when you have finished, come on here to discuss thoughts etc...

Anyone interested let me know asap! Just finished a book and want to start a new one!

I know I'm probably about to find out from reading it but what is The Tiger's Child like/ genre etc? Just so I can psyche myself up to read something other than crime fiction ( which I really must!!)

Nemo1977 · 20/05/2005 21:40

sorry just re read thread
so tigers child is a sequel do u think its necessary to read the first one?

wendy33 · 20/05/2005 21:40

It is the sequal to One Child by Torey Haydon.

Torey Hayden is a SEN teacher who has a 6 year old child come into her care for 6 months. She then meets up with Sheila 7 years later as a teenager in The Tiger's Child. If you havnt read One Child dont worry. The sequal refers back.

dizzymama · 20/05/2005 21:57

Tiger's Child appeals to the SEN teacher in me so that gets my vote.
