I was thinking of starting a book club on here for people who are keen readers. I normally read true life memoirs like 'My Sisters Keeper'.

I was thinking we could choose a book to read. Allow a couple of weeks to read it, then when you have finished, come on here to discuss thoughts etc...

Anyone interested let me know asap! Just finished a book and want to start a new one!

Yeah i must admit that i would need extra time too due to work, college and two boys under 2.5. Any chance we can even if it is buy an extra week?

Rockydog · 23/05/2005 19:33

Well I've ordered it (namely cos it sounds so good) and I'll try my best to read it in your timeframe but if you could reconsider and make it a month I (and by the sounds of it a few others) would be really grateful.

I'd love to be part of this community and like I said I'll do my best.

wendy33 · 24/05/2005 12:54

Ok. We will stretch it to 4 weeks.

The deadline will now be 19th June!

Hope this is helpful for everyone!

Speak to you all later!

Just bought The Tigers Child, finally. None at Morrisons, none at Asda - the power of MN! Anyhow it's £3.73 at Tesco. Thanks for the extra time because I bought 'One Child' at Morrisons and now I can read it first!

wendy33 · 24/05/2005 19:17

TwoIfBySea · 25/05/2005 21:46

Definitely the power of MN as DH had to go to the ASDA near his work to finally get the book. Glad I read this to see the deadline has moved so I might get One Child and read that first and then Tiger Child.

Have already got my copy of Shadow of the Wind so have a head start there!
