I'm about 15% in and so far this is my second favourite Strike book (Lethal White being my fave - but that may change in a few days).

It's immersive, as sharp as ever on the relations between the sexes, brilliantly plotted, tense, creepy and compulsive. If it wasn't for that pesky thing called my job I wouldn't be putting it down....my weekend is now sorted!!

No spoilers was only added to the title yesterday.

I’m tantalisingly close to the end but I fell asleep reading last night. It’s a big book to land on you!!!

I keep having this problem! I usually listen while I'm running so it's an incentive to get more miles in. This time I'm 39 weeks pregnant and I keep lying down to listen and falling asleep!

I have audible (easier on the commute) and have to keep going back a few chapters!

I am lucky enough to have an office to myself so listen during the day (when I’m doing spreadsheet work).

Has anyone else's copy got errors in? So far I've got an incorrect surname (one characters applied to another) and a sister referred to as a brother. Very annoying!

Yes, there are a few. - but given that JKR thanks her wonderful editor for catching lots of errors, I'd guess there were many more originally.

That's what second revised editions are for, I suppose.

Yes, lots of errors, grammatical and continuity wise. Could have done with another round of editing but I’m not complaining that we have it this early!

Sue always get new eyes on a final final read. I always get an assistant/secretary to proof final
run through for me. When you’ve read a document a million times you go word blind.
