I've just finished it and loved it!

Just finished the 35 hour audiobook. It was great! I love Robin and Strike so much.

On weight, the character of Flora is described as being obese but also very beautiful, and it was clear that Robyn's weight loss was not viewed as healthy.

In my local independent bookshop it is £25. I haven't seen it anywhere else yet. I have enjoyed reading this thread and there aren't spoilers. I've got plenty to read, but I wonder if I'll order at the library or splash out before Christmas.

A lot of turmoil at home and this is really helping.

I simultaneously had to finish it because I needed to know what happened, and never wanted it to end. Finished it last night really late, and I’m so tired today! But it was brilliant. Feels like a book that would take me years to research, plot, write, and edit. How JK writes all these incredible books year after year is astounding. Love her. I need book 8 now!!

I know it's half price in places. It makes it so hard to 'support one's local independent bookshop'.😐

Finally getting round to reading the latest Strike as I hate reading hardbacks so have had to wait for the paperback to come out. It may take me a while judging by how thick it is!

Isn’t the next one due out September? Will they? Won’t they? Will Matt n Sarah get what’s coming to them?

She hinted on X the other day she’s still writing The Hallmarked Man, so I doubt it’ll be out in September.

I don't think THM will be out till 2025.

I hope they use as little as possible! It really didn't work well in the book and I ended up skim reading most of the chat room conversations.

That's interesting, as I really love the chatroom stuff, especially on rereading the book as the clues are all in there!
