There's a thread for each person's book in Adult Fiction, MN Book Swap Clubs.

It'd be good if you'd all look for the thread with your name on it, and make a few comments about the book you're sending out. Then, once each person has read your book, they should go to that thread and add their own comments. Maybe we could all have a heated debate!

Warning: reading the threads about books you haven't read yet may well ruin all the fun!

@rosmerta: I wouldn't have picked it off the shelf either, but I read a review in the Grauniad and it sounded good. Possibly best avoided around any particularly hormonal times, though, as I have now remembered too late that there are one or two quite traumatic scenes in there that I remember sobbing my way through. If you don't like it let me know and I'll post another one!

@luna, I've started mine - thanks. I like fantasy as a rule although this wasn't one I'd come across before. Shall have to put in a few late nights to get through it in time!!

hello mehdismummy, I read my first book really quickly and so i sent it straight on to you - so you should have two from me. sorry to be confusing. so yes you should ahve two books from me! my return address should have been on the label on teh front.

The problem with sending out early is it might get confusing, and difficult to keep track of where we are.

Personally, I'd rather say let's all aim to send out on a given day each month, eg the 28th, with aim to start reading our new books by the 1st of each month.

So we need to read our February books extra fast

Ah - now I'm confused - I thought the 28th was a date picked to be reasonably sure of book arrival by the 1st of the following month? So do we still post on 28 Feb and start a bit later next month? (Guess that's fairer to lunavix).
