I've missed out on two now. I quite like the idea, anyone else?

OP posts:
TheMadHouse · 03/07/2008 16:07

I obviously have not posted to Luna this month, as I had nothing to post. I guess that puts things right

squilly · 03/07/2008 18:38

I sent mine yesterday. Hopefully it'll arrive soon, but I can't remember if I sent it first or second as I was doing a pile of ebay parcels...

rosmerta · 03/07/2008 20:33

Coco, flossie is sending 2 books & I've already got & finished one, do you want it now or do you want both together?

FlossieTCake · 03/07/2008 20:51

I haven't started my second book I'm afraid (have a library book to finish first that is due back imminently...), so it may be a little while - sorry! Will read as fast as I can. Late-night train again tomorrow which is usually a good bet for getting through things... and a weekend with practically nothing planned. bliss.

swampster · 04/07/2008 12:31

I'm late posting again - sorry, missing (still struggling to read it).

Incidentally, how many of us have had BFPs? Spotted dinny on the March 2009 thread, congratulations, and Coco on the February one, congratulations too (though you seem to have dropped off for the moment, which keeps happening when the wrong list gets cut and pasted). I'm on the Feb list but under a different name .

rosmerta · 04/07/2008 13:14

congratulations swampster, coco & dinny. I'm on the Dec thread! Maybe our book swap thread is like one of those supposed fertility spots

swampster · 04/07/2008 13:21

Four out of 12 (or is it 13 now?) does seem unfeasibly high! Congratulations rosmerta.

Cocodrillo · 04/07/2008 14:19

Are you Swampster? Congratulations, how funny! When are you due? And to you Dinny.

Oh, and Rosmerta!

Is it since we turned from a 12 into a coven of 13 I wonder? We're all very early on...

Cocodrillo · 04/07/2008 14:20

Squilly, I will post on to you at the weekend. Sorry it's a bit late.

Rosmerta, yes please, send one along if you've finished.

Psychomum5 · 04/07/2008 14:21

I never got last months book

huge congrats for those with new little potential readers in their tummies

Flamesparrow · 04/07/2008 18:56

Congratulations all of you

swampster · 04/07/2008 19:20

Watch it Flame, I'll touch you and give you the lurgy!

swampster · 04/07/2008 19:21

Or is that not how it works?

Flamesparrow · 04/07/2008 19:22

Tis knowledge like that that explains the teenage pregnancy rate

FlossieTCake · 05/07/2008 00:48

argh - not here as well!!!

I have lost exact count of the number of my immediate friends that have had/will have babies this year, but it is in resounding double figures.

Now the book swap.

It truly will be a miracle if I make it to 2009 un-pregnant.

Congratulations to you all!!

squilly · 05/07/2008 08:59

It won't hit everyone Flossie. Have no fear.

I'm the weakest link, statistically speaking as I'm (a) over 40; (b) unable to conceive naturally and (c) too f*cking tired to try again anyway!!!

So you won't be alone as the only person not geting pregnant.

Congratulations to all those who have though. I hope there'll be baby pics on your profiles as soon as humanly possible!!! That way I can live vicariously through you guys.

Cocodrillo · 05/07/2008 09:05

Flossie, i've no idea who put that book you CAted me about into the swap, whoever it was didn't tell me about it.

I'm excited, as its one I want to read though!

How about everyone goes to their book swap thread, and posts in it the initials of their book title - like some other book swaps did from the off (clever clogses)?

squilly · 05/07/2008 09:24

I don't think I have a thread, being the unlucky 13th. Do I have to start my own??

swampster · 05/07/2008 09:44

Pretty weak link here too - (a) over 40; (b) DS1 assisted conception (thought DS2 was a total fluke HAH!) (c) spent a couple of weeks feeling SICK SICK SICK and thinking that if I didn't know it was impossible unless immaculate, I'd think I was pg... but there was that ONE time back in the mists when I was awake long enough to... too much information.

I can't read my book, my brains are mush.

Flamesparrow · 05/07/2008 11:34

Ooh a fine plan - will do that now

TheMadHouse · 05/07/2008 17:31

I have my books - yippe

Congratulations you pregnant ones. I think we are a covern, although no more for me. I am having an operations to remove my ovaries and tubes in 2 weeks time. So even you witches can not do that - at least I dont think so (although techically I still will have womb)

Coco I am going to e-mail you.

FlossieTCake · 07/07/2008 17:26

The initials of my mystery book are:

A S R

Paperback, male author, cover image of woman sitting on large piece of driftwood on a beach.

If anyone recognises their book from that description can you let me know

I've put initials into my thread, and also into Lunavix's since I could still remember them...

cornishzulu · 07/07/2008 18:13

ME ME ME! PICK ME etc etc

And well said Flossie re chick-lit

FlossieTCake · 09/07/2008 21:25

Hang on, I'm getting all confused.

Mystery book I have just named is the one I'm reading now.

The mystery book I CATed Coco about was hardback, initials B I D. No people on the cover. If anyone recognises that one either then shout...

Don't we have to make a new thread at 500? Or is it 1000?
