I've just e-mailed a book shop in Killarney(the imaginatively named 'Book Shop Killarney)to find out if I can reserve some books, do you think I'm mad?

kate100 · 12/07/2007 14:11

I'm seeing the film on Sunday with DH and the in-laws are babysitting, can't wait!

PhoenixSongbird · 12/07/2007 14:13

MrsWeasley · 12/07/2007 14:14

I've read the spoiler and I am sorry to tell the miserable spoiler person that it hasnt spoilt it for me at all in fact it made me even more excited (if thats possible)

I've ordered a few copies and seriously thinking of getting the audio CD's too so that I can listen to it whilst doing other things to!

PhoenixSongbird · 12/07/2007 14:16

singingmum · 12/07/2007 14:19

MrsWeasley,
Are you going to put up a photo for us all to see of you and your dc's all dressed up?
I haven't the guts to do the whole dress up thing.

MrsWeasley · 12/07/2007 14:22

katiebell100 · 12/07/2007 14:25

[flys in on broomstick to announce new name]

Thanks Songbird, I've been trying to think of a new name, but all the ones I thought of were too long Ds2 was born a few weeks after HBP was out, so I got it finished just in time and I can't believe where the time has gone either, he's 2 in a few weeks. I started reading these books after I started teaching in 1999 and I read them as I wanted to know what happened after the children had finished reading to me, those children do there GCSE's this year and I wonder if they are at all interested in how it ends? Oh dear working out how old they are has made me feel old

Still waiting to hear from the bookshop....

persephonesnape · 12/07/2007 14:33

Mrs W, am sure you and all the mini weasleys will look wonderful! Do enjoy the film ( and same to everyone else seeingit today)

MrsWeasley · 12/07/2007 14:45

Thank you I'm sure we will love it.

MrsWeasley · 12/07/2007 14:45

and then I'm sure we will love it again on sunday (taking younger ones)

AlbusPercivalWulfricBrianSun · 12/07/2007 14:53

Abhorsen trilogy very very good. I love the whole death theme running through them - very clever.
Afraid I just don't trust RM so will definitely be finding a bookshop. In fact will look on Yell right now.

AlbusPercivalWulfricBrianSun · 12/07/2007 15:01

OK so according to Yell there is only one bookshop in Hartlepool and it's a WH Smiths. Philistines!

AnnieOleHouseElf · 12/07/2007 15:22

MrsWeasley I is packing your popcorn and butterbeer, ready for the movie

Have fun

MrsWeasley · 12/07/2007 15:46

thank you Annie

Have the evening off and you and dobby a few butterbeers on me. ok?

kneazlechick · 12/07/2007 16:00

Aha!! I can't believe how much you lot have been chatting today!!!

I am seriously considering re-reading HBP as I read it before OotP and I read the latest Artemis Fowl in between ... so I think I'm justified in reading it again ... aren't I?

I didn't know anything about HP until all the hype about POA which I bought in hardback and got PS and COS in paperback and read them all in about 3 weeks!! Hooked ever since.

I pre-ordered GOF with another book from Amazon. It said that the other book might be 6 weeks and they'd deliver them both together So I was planning to go and buy a copy anyway but it turned up on time!!! Yay

AlbusPercivalWulfricBrianSun · 12/07/2007 16:14

Definitley justified reading HBP again. I've read all of them a number of times now.

AnnieOleHouseElf · 12/07/2007 16:40

Thank you very much MrsWeasley, I is hoping to go one evening next week after work, if it is ok with you. I promise to work extra for the rest of the week.

katiebell100 · 12/07/2007 19:09

Have a good time Mrs Weasley, tell us if it's good, but don't tell me too much about it

PhoenixSongbird · 12/07/2007 19:46

ooooohhhhh, I really wanna see it [pout].

OP posts:
singingmum · 12/07/2007 19:54

I don't because of agrophobia but ;would if i could.
Have banned my dc's and dp going because even though I know the storyline they(mainly dc's)tell me about all the bits cut/not cut.V.annoying
