Book giveaway - what am I doing wrong?!

So here I am at 7pm with my first bookclub email - poised to fill out a form...

and all the links for each book either go to amazon (for the blurb) or to a mumsnet review page with "This form is currently private and cannot be viewed by the general public" at the bottom...

... am I doing something wrong? Clicking wrong? I was so ready to get a free book!

Same here! Sorry to be absolutely no use to you, but at least you know you are not sitting there on your own not getting a book whilst everyone else is!

so annoying. been sitting here for 20 minutes pressing refresh and nothing. have to go collect daughter now, so going to miss out again. why say 7pm if you cant be ready by then

First time for me too, last month I missed out but there was a different message that said the books had gone, so hopefully it's just a glitch this month.

We're so sorry - there's been a glitch but it's fixed now. We're going to open all the forms at 7.30pm this evening. Good luck everyone and sorry again for the delay this evening.

Ah thankyou very much MNHQ. However now gin has been mentioned I want one! Is it wrong to drink on my own even though my husband is away this week and I'm co-sleeping.... (I do know the answer to that one ;))

I may have made an etiquette mistake too. I'd really like the Julia Donaldson one so filled that form out.. but it doesn't tell you if you are one of the first 50 (i may not be as I ended up doing bedtime as I'd already ignored them for 15minutes and hell was breaking loose!) So I filled out the others too in case I had a chance there in stead. I now suspect I'm only really supposed to fill out one so if I've got a Julia one can the others be deleted? Or is that ok? If I won them all (!!) I'd definitely read and comment - I'm so excited to be part of a book club as I'm never able to go out during the week (husband away) but I suspect that's not exactly fair.

And now I'm rabbiting. I so want gin.

I came back after my Brownies pick up and it was live, so have also entered more than once. It would be good if form could be removed once books have all gone, but guess that would be difficult to arrange. I thought that perhaps one was more popular, so if I tried more than one I may have more chance.

Click the link where it says '50 copies to giveaway' and you'll be taken to the book giveaway page (if you click the title of the book it does take you to Amazon). Sorry to hear you're not getting the book club email. We'll get our tech team to check out why this is happening and get back to you in the morning.
