First off, I know there's a dedicated area in big/slim/whatever but I'm after traffic as it's a bit quiet in the WW section. Second, I know that 5:2 and low carb are popular on MN but neither of them suit me whereas I've lost weight with WW in the fairly distant past and regained due to unrelated issues which I'll leave out for now. I'm sure there are plenty of opinions on why it doesn't work but for me it does.

Just wondering if anyone is thinking of signing up and would like a support thread over on the WW board. I have at least 4st to lose and would appreciate it. I can't go to meetings as they don't fit in with work, so will be doing it online (half price on the website at the moment and Top Cashback give a few quid back). Anyone in?

I am same weight and 5 ft 6 and get 35 daily and 30 weekly. Why such a big difference

Checking in - was away last weekend for my 40th and put on an impressive 4lbs but back on it on Monday, so hoping to undo some of that at next weigh in on Monday coming

Hello everyone - I lost this thread and last posted on New Year's Eve! I have lost 9.5 pounds since then (week 1 - 4.5, week 2 - 2.5, week 3 - 0.5 and this week - 2). I'm very pleased with that but still have nearly 2 stone to go and have a few birthday meals to go to this week including my own (big birthday). Think I may well put some back on this week but hopefully will get back on it after that. Well done to everyone who is losing Smile. I was a bit disappointed when I only lost half a pound but then I remembered that it's still equivalent to a pack of butter and that cheered me up!

Well 4lbs off today - I did think (with hindsight - see my moany post above) that 2 weeks only losing half a pound wasn't really deserved when I'd stuck more or less to plan, so I guess it just caught up today. So 5lb in 3 weeks, so if you count my 1st week too where I lost 3lbs, that's 8 pounds in 4 weeks. I'll take that.

It is now 7.20pm on a Saturday and at this point every other week, I've used up all my daily points and have already made a dent in my weeklies. I am feeling very virtuous as I still have 2 points of my daily points left (where's the wine Wink?)

Another late joiner! Can I please join? I have 3 stone to lose, have been doing it for just over 3 weeks and have lost 5 pounds so far. Am impatient though and can't see a difference so would love some support! xx

I'm doing online with meetings. If I face the scales I can't kid myself like I did with just online.

I joined last week, only lost 1/2 lb but was happy as it was my twins birthday so there was lots of temptation including cake. Only 5st to go. Am doing online and meetings.
A little confused with fitness points, can I use ones I earn as like a buffer if go over daily/weekly points?

Hi everyone, can I join?

I started ww 10 Jan and have lost 6lbs after 3 weigh ins. Weigh in day is Tues and it's been a good week apart from Weds when I worked from home and ate too many bits and pieces.

I have a huge amount to lose overall but trying to focus on one day at a time. My main motivation is health and fertility, I have had 4 mc in the last 2 years and I am now 40 so really need to know I've done everything I can for a successful pregnancy.

Abstar are you on the app? You can choose to use the fit points as a buffer either after dailies or weeklies have run out, or not at all (it's in the settings under swaps). I don't use them but find it interesting to know how much activity I'm doing.

Msjuniper yes I'm on the app, didn't see that but will have a look. I would prefer not to use them but had a Chinese last night that used lots of my weeklies and just wanted to be sure if i have a bad day

1 lb off and pleased with that as I had a big loss last week. I'm going to struggle more this week as I have a meal out on Tues evening and I find it hard to keep on track when I'm out.

But I suspect a few of those pounds were helped by my cycle - now I'm permenopausal I get very bloated pre-period

Am expecting a much steadier loss From now on

Lost -5.4lbs this week - pleased with that. So -10lb in total. Am finding it hard and slow going, I think it gets harder as you get older ☹️. Only another 26lb to go 😀

Have joined WW online, with aim of loosing 2 stones.
Previously done low carb, SW, cutting out meals, so this is all new for me.
Fingers crossed I do as well as some of you are !
