I've done WW before but went to meetings and did ProPoints. I've just signed up to online with Smart Points/No Count and there is a frustrating lack of information Confused

Can anyone tell me if potatoes and sweet potatoes are free on No Count? The only list I can find suggests all fruit and veg are (apart from avocados) but doesn't seem complete.

Thanks in advance!

My weigh in is now Wednesday . I need a day or two to fix my weekends .

Sairelou · 25/09/2016 20:52

I've had a tough weekend too. We've had the lurgy in our house so I've not really had the energy to cook. Plus DD did not sleep last night so u ended up driving to McDonald's at 4.30am to get her to sleep and I may have devoured a chocolate muffin which was about 21SP! Oops! Weigh in is Wednesday so hoping I can pull it back by then!

Aquasport · 25/09/2016 21:52

Let's all hope we can pull it together before our weigh in day! I've got flights booked now for a December getaway and I must be at least one stone lighter.

Hi Everyone, Can i join in?

I joined online on the 9th of sept and ordered my free book, its still not here, how long did everyone's book take to come?

I did start tracking at first but had such a stressful time that i couldn't think straight never mind track.

But...i tried my jeans on yesterday and they don't fit so i really need to focus on losing some weight.

I could do with some online support and the bloody recipe book

Howlongtillbedtime · 26/09/2016 13:22

My recipe book still isn't here two weeks in which has annoyed me too .

ihatethecold · 26/09/2016 13:30

I rang them up, they told me to hang on for another 7 days before asking again.

Oscha · 26/09/2016 16:17

Just 1lb off this week, though it was 6 days not 7. Hopefully I'll have a bigger loss next week.

My cookbook took 2 or 3 weeks to arrive I think.

Hi. Can I please join? I started online yesterday. I have gone up and down with my weight for years but not far off my heaviest so need to do something about it! Can I ask do you have to order the book and should I have got a code? Thanks.

ihatethecold · 26/09/2016 19:44

I got an email after I joined which had a code to redeem

CateGory8 · 26/09/2016 23:13

Boo...only 1lb down this week. I'd like to think that its because I actually lost 4lbs last week so things slowed down this week.

Didn't really do any exercise as I was feeling lazy.....time to get my move on.

Howlongtillbedtime · 28/09/2016 06:52

Morning all . Weighed this morning and i have lost 2 pounds which I am pleased about as I have had my period this week and my mum has been visiting which means she has been cooking which is lovely but not always diet friendly .

Hoping to get to the gym after work today . I am managing 3 times a week which has got to help . Fingers crossed .

10 pounds in 2 weeks Grin

How did you get on OP? I have read some of your older threads on mindful eating and ditching diets and then you went onto WEight Watchers. Did you manage to stick at this? I have been doing mindful eating and find that if i do it properly I lose. Just wondered if you have found your "way" yet.

Issymum123 · 14/03/2017 07:15

I've just signed up for WW online and I'm getting so frustrated by the lack of info! I've done pro points in the past and lost 3 stone.
I'm doing online only. What is the difference between no count and points? Where do I find the info on the app? There used to be a forum /message board on the old ww website? There doesn't seem to be many recipes available either? I can't access esource as that is for meeting members only. Any suggestions to point me in the right direction please? Thanks!!

ladybunnikins · 14/03/2017 14:17

Points = eat whatever food you like as long as you stay within your daily/weekly points allowance
No count = there is a list of no count foods, you can eat as much as you want of these foods but anything outside of the list uses your weekly points. I go to meetings so the No Count list was in one of the books, I don't know where you find it online.
In the app settings you can switch between pointing and no count, I haven't tried no count yet because I don't trust my portion control.
The Connect section on the app is like instagram and I think this has replaced the message boards. Probably better to ask for advice there for quicker replies!

Thank you!

mrspitt · 20/03/2017 14:20

@Issymum123 I joined again yesterday after a few years away and like you couldn't find the forums which I used to really enjoy, bit gutted if they've gone to be honest. Finding the app quite good for tracking and being able to scan barcodes on foods, much more convenient. Still getting to grips with it all though and quite shocked at the number of points in things I thought would be okay.
For example, foil tray of Mediterranean Veg had 4 points per 100g and the whole thing was 400g thankfully I checked or would have eaten it all!!

Issymum123 · 20/03/2017 15:20

@mrspitt, yes it does take some getting used to and some foods have higher values than before. I love the bar code scanner thingy. Pleased to say I've lost 2.5lbs in my first week so it's obviously working!
