So who else is back to the WW routine in January?

I lost weight slowly and steadily on the 'filling and healthy' ww plan last year. Lost 16lbs over 16 weeks and I am back within my gold buffer zone but not quite where I'd like to be yet. Have had a couple of weeks off over christmas but planning to weigh in on Monday at my meeting...which I expecte will be rammed!
I also need to increase the exercise as that waned a bit in December.

Hope to have some company on this board for the new year. What are your aims?

I finally decided to start using the website (on week four, better late than never!) but the site seems determined that I should be eating 43pp per day when my group leader put me on 37pp. 37 seems right to me. I'm confused. I wondered if it might be an old profile, but no, it was set up when I applied for the monthly pass. I've asked in the community section.

And I'm a tiny bit miffed to realize that the Weigh & Win card I've been getting stamped actually expired in December 2014!

Rainicorn · 28/01/2015 22:30

Have you changed your goal? Your leader may gave set a different one to what you have set online.

GatoradeMeBitch · 28/01/2015 23:04

The thing is, I haven't been given a goal weight yet! So if the site asked for that (can't remember now) I can see how I may have ended up with something different. My group leader just wants me to concentrate on my first month goal - to lose 10 pounds.

FixItUpChappie · 28/01/2015 23:07

OMG I just blew my points out of the water on a....donair kebab. Who the hell has a donair kebab on a diet?! Confused. I was all yeah me yesterday too....

I am going to track it, enjoy my apple for dinner and move on. That is why this time will be different Grin.

GatoradeMeBitch · 29/01/2015 10:33

Fixed the online thingy now.

I've got weigh-in today, I'm a bit nervous. Firs thing this morning I had lost 5 pounds, then I drank a glass of water and weighed myself again just because - loss now only 3.5 pounds! How does a glass of water make me gain a pound and a half?! Not fair!

Hopelass · 29/01/2015 16:28

Fixitup well done for still tracking. I honestly think it helps. It can be too easy otherwise just to think sod it!! One week I had -59 points left! Obviously I didn't lose but by keeping track still I avoided going into the -100s I'm sure Grin

Twinklestar2 · 29/01/2015 17:41

Good luck for WI Gatorade!

Happy to report I'm doing well on F and H. Finding it much easier Grin

Rainicorn · 29/01/2015 17:46

Good luck Gatorade.

Chappie, best to,track it.mthat way you may stay within your points. If not, move on and move forward.

Anyone want to share some photos of food for inspiration, as I find pictures often look better than written word.

Tonight I am having M&S ham and mushroom pizza (10pp) and salad with balsamic dressing (0pp)

I lost four pounds! I was a bit daft and had a bowlful of steamed watercress and baby spinach for breakfast before weigh-in because I was paranoid that a bowlful of porridge would instantly put pounds on me Blush But to be fair, that veg needed using up anyway.

But I'm going to do this the right way now, I have a pointed out meal plan for the week and everything!

GatoradeMeBitch · 29/01/2015 20:16

That looks lovely Rainicorn! We're having the turkey and bacon burgers from the planner book because they turned out well last time, once I stopped being stupid and realized that turkey burgers were meant to be pale...

Rainicorn · 29/01/2015 21:28

Well done!

I want to make that 0pp curried butternut soup that's on menus atm.

Grin at getting over pale burgers

Twinklestar2 · 29/01/2015 21:53

Well done Gatorade! That's really fab.

FixItUpChappie · 30/01/2015 03:41

4 lbs is fantastic Gatorade! good on you

Lunch out with the girls and I did much better today - shrimp fajitas, no cheese and I asked them not to use any butter. it was reasonable Wine

SomewhereIBelong · 30/01/2015 08:34

woohooo - 4lb - well done Gator....

MagratsHair · 30/01/2015 12:05

Hi,

Can I join? :)

ethelb · 30/01/2015 12:22

I lost another 2 lbs, horray! So that's 4 lb off in two weeks. I had quite a bad week this week including a massive blow out or three at the weekend so I am pleased I managed to lose this week.

I am going wedding dress shopping tomorrow and I am 4lb off where I would ideally like to be right now, but I am pleased that I have lost 3 inches off my waist since I started and 9.5lb overall.

4.5 lb to goal now!

Welcome MagretsHair!

Rainicorn · 30/01/2015 12:25

Hi Magrat, welcome to the thread

How many points would be in licking the spoon of a cake mix? HmmGrinBlush

Cake sale at the DC school today, so spent last night baking a million fairy cakes. Pointed them, and 4pp so not bad as a treat. My tracker yesterday reads terrible, but still had 4pp left over.

My dad is coming over tonight, he will be bringing fish and chips. I think I will just have a fish with mushy peas. That shouldn't be too high right?

PenguinsandtheTantrumofDoom · 30/01/2015 12:28

Can I join you ladies? I am doing WW online but I'm very lazy and I need some accountability (can't make the times of any local groups).

I'm 80kg, about 8-10kg of post-baby weight needs to go(including, ahem, a couple of kilos over before I started) and the baby is nearly 9 months old!

Rainicorn · 30/01/2015 12:59

I'm also losing baby weight Penguin, my baby is 140 months old (11yrs old) though Grin

Welcome, and good luck.

SomewhereIBelong · 30/01/2015 17:44

Well done ethelb 2lb is fab - I'm hoping for that this week.. fingers crossed.

the baby I'm losing weight from is 14 now ( and I have a 12 year old too! didn't lose any in between Blush )

BackToTheFuschia · 30/01/2015 19:01

Well done on the losses!

Rainicorn · 30/01/2015 19:59

Oh Ethal, must have posted with you earlier. Well done on the loss and enjoy wedding dress shopping tomorrow.

MagratsHair · 30/01/2015 20:35

WeightWatchers1970

DoingTheBestICan · 30/01/2015 21:15

Can I join you ladies? I'm on week 3 and I've lost 11lb so far but ive got a long way to go yet,I would like to lost around 4 stone.

Rainicorn · 30/01/2015 22:22

Oh my lord! I would have starved on WW if I had had to do it in the 70s
