My face is fat whatever weight I am so Ozempic face will never be an issue for me. In fact I'd welcome ozempic face 😂

Doggymummar · 15/06/2023 18:50

Me too, I think I had cheek bones when I was size 6 I have a scrawny neck but that's age

Dhdvl · 15/06/2023 19:25

Hi I’ve not bought any Rybelsus tablets yet, where does everyone order theirs from. I need to lose weight and need some help as my willpower is rubbish. Thanks in advance x

Londonlady365 · 15/06/2023 19:44

Yeah I am a little cubby cheeks too.

Londonlady365 · 15/06/2023 19:45

@Dhdvl at the moment anywhere that has stock ( see posts over last few days) but not daily chemist.

Londonlady365 · 15/06/2023 19:47

I used slimming4you and mayfair weight loss. I used two suppliers to minimise risk of fakes. Both good

Cetra06 · 15/06/2023 21:56

@Doggymummar well done! You’re doing so well to keep it up after 90 days!

@Dhdvl theres a couple recommendations in the thread DO NOT buy from daily chemist!

QueenOfHiraeth · 15/06/2023 22:00

I had an update from NovoNordisk who make Ozempic and Rybelsus today.
Said basically that the problem is demand outstripping supply which could continue into 2024...

Yes I mentioned this last week. Some places seem to have it though

Thanks, I must have missed your post.
I guess if there is supply coming through it will just be hit and miss for a while.
I'm kind of hoping that some diabetics moving onto alternative products may ease the issues on the products licensed for weight loss too

SilkySuky · 16/06/2023 07:57

Hi all, managed to get approved for delivery from numan, process wasn't too bad, thanks @BangingOn I think it was for the tip about them having stock as HE still out.

Holiday weight gain has come straight back off this week which is awesome, also on my period this week so the gain could have been water, travel bloat etc as my appetite was still suppressed while on holiday.

Very worrying news about potential stock issues going in to September. Will have to hope production is scaled up to meet demand (which surely could have been predicted) successfully.

I keep going back to the Zoe podcast transcript. I would highly recommend it for anyone that hasn't seen it.

BangingOn · 16/06/2023 08:44

@SilkySuky I am glad you managed to get hold of some and also good news that your holiday weight has come off. I always bloat massively on holiday, especially where flights are involved, even if I don’t go crazy on food.

The supply situation is a concern, I am going to keep ordering 1 pack ahead of what I need (without going crazy and stockpiling) and once I am settled on 14mg will play around with skipping days to see if I can make a pack last longer without reducing the effects too much.

SilkySuky · 16/06/2023 11:01

@BangingOn I think others are playing around with only dosing on alternate days and some have mentioned the drug having a 7 day half life in your system, as I think everyone is afraid of running out.

Will hope they update with results and also hope it works out.

Thank you all for the lovely words. Think am frustrated cos its just so so expensive and 10 days of taking the tablets has made zero difference to my appetite or weight :/ will give it longer and keep hoping it does something soon :)

I'm on last day of first month of 14 (30 days 3mg, 30 days 7mg)

I've lost around 10 pounds, disappointing - I have another 30 days of 14mg, so will take those, will try on an every other day from now on

My appetite is down if I am honest, but I'm not off anything (was hoping to be 'off wine' but no)

I'm six pounds off in two weeks which I'm very pleased with as it's been effortless with no side effects. I'm avoiding alcohol as much as possible though as it affects me so much more on an empty stomach (and an empty stomach is something completely new to me as I hate being hungry so before I started on the tablets I would graze all day long)!

RybelsusDay1x20MAR23 · 16/06/2023 12:33

May possibly weigh in lower tomorrow

Have been a bit bunged up, and let me tell you, movicol does not take 2 days to work, 2 hours!!!

@RybelsusDay1x20MAR23

how much have you lost so far overall?

did you have appetite suppression on the 3mg/7mg?

curious as to what happens as you go up the dosage. I have good appetite suppression on the 3mg

I last ate at 4pm it’s now midnight and I am just now feeling hungry but I could probably just sleep. It’s so interesting

Doggymummar · 17/06/2023 08:29

If anyone is concerned about skipping days I have just skipped two days and nothing happened. No change in appetite suppression and I actually lost double my daily weight loss, maybe as I was more conscious not to eat. When I took the tablet just now I could feel it make my tongue cringe but that's all.

I can't stand Boris or the Daily Fail but he wrote a column yesterday about his time on the Ozempic tablet which was quite interesting clearly didn't work for him

RybelsusDay1x20MAR23 · 17/06/2023 11:47

So weighed in this morning
13 10.8

Is that better than you were expecting?

BangingOn · 17/06/2023 16:59

@Doggymummar thats interesting re skipping tablets, thanks for sharing.

Amazingly, my Daily Chemist tablets turned up today which was unexpected but not unwelcome as I now have a small stockpile of 14mg.

Doggymummar · 17/06/2023 17:01

Oh yey, did you already get a CHARGEBACK from the bank?

BangingOn · 17/06/2023 20:24

No, I had to wait 14 days for a chargeback so sadly they weren’t free. It’s a good job I don’t want to eat as I’ve no money for food having spent it all on extra Rybelsus 😀

Now 19lbs down in 6 weeks, so steady but consistent.

Doggymummar · 17/06/2023 20:33

Well done that's good going. I haven't bought food for weeks now. My oh loves a takeaway so I have scraps and am working my way through the cupboards. just found vegan chocolate ice-cream from god knows when in the freezer. It's grim but it's cold and has calories

RybelsusDay1x20MAR23 · 18/06/2023 12:10

Doggymummar · 17/06/2023 12:08

Is that better than you were expecting?

i've just ordered another lot from Quick Meds - more expensive this time £165 - but am going to continue on every other day, which means I have just under 4 months worth which if i can lose some more weight will be worth it
