no, dds do not swear in front of us. They are genrally biddable

dinkystinky · 14/04/2010 20:15

DS1 turns 4 in 2 weeks - he has taken to describing everyone and everything as poo-poo. Tis the start of the slippery slope....

NomDePlume · 14/04/2010 20:16

OH MY GOd. Yes I did!!!! LOL. Glamorous lives of the rich and fanous, eh?!

NomDePlume · 14/04/2010 20:17

I must've posted it on here donkeys yrs ago when I wasn't bothered about my privacy

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 14/04/2010 20:18

lol at poo-poo ans lippery slope.
Nom, sadly school is not great. Somewhat better than most of the city schools but only cos benchmark set so low. However it is improving I think - been there 14months and headteahcer etc are pushing v hard.

NomDePlume · 14/04/2010 20:21

ah.

DS1 & 2's school (although DS1 not there anymore and DS2 now in yr11) is crap. The head is a total dick. The level of education is ok and the bullying etc is lowish and the ofsteds are pretty average but the Head is a moron. Needless to say that DD will not be going there

MrsShu · 14/04/2010 20:25

duckyfuzz · 14/04/2010 20:31

evening all, back from our trip to the big city, the land the zone forgot

good zone things:
I didn't have pastries for breakfast every day
I did have fruit for breakfast every day
I only drank water, coffee or white wine
I only ate bread once
I had salad when I could

Bad zone things:
I had pizza and chips twice, but not together
Not enough sleep (family room)
too much alcohol

but a fab time was had by all and I have only put on a couple of pounds I think, will weigh in on fri

cyb · 14/04/2010 20:48

I have read the thread byt can't remember waht I wanted to comment on at this stage so won't bother!

Have had fish and chips. Not in zone obv but it did make me happy and I can't have it again till i come back to Dublin as can't get in Budapest. Rest of day was good - brown soda bread and a hard boiled egg for breakfast, salad for lunch with slice of rye bread with hummus for lunch.

Currently having a glass of wine and watching my mum make a real meal out of eating a slice of apple pie.

Went shopping today and bought a pair of straight leg jeans and a pair of black crop jeans and a nice shirt/top and yet another pair of shoes. Fourth in as many days! Black pumps this time. I so want to not be 'plus' size. Sick of Evans and other 'fat bitch' ranges.

dinkystinky · 14/04/2010 20:52

Glad you had a good time duckyfuzz - well done on staying mostly zoned...

Cyb - my DH keeps doing that. Thankfully he's most at work things in the evenings during the week...

bobbiewickham · 14/04/2010 20:56

Lol at "fat bitch ranges".

Do you remember the one in C&A called 'Renoir'?

Cheeky bastards.

BudaisintheZONE · 14/04/2010 20:59

Don't remember 'Renoir' but C&A is alive and well in Hungary and their fat bitch range is succintly called 'XXL'!

bobbiewickham · 14/04/2010 21:09

Brief and to the point, Buda...

cyb · 14/04/2010 21:16

what do we think of these?

ZoneArmatrading · 14/04/2010 21:16

Geordieminx, the wedges are lovely. Get the navy

DH jauntily saying 'Come on, it's Midsomer Murders' We are starting to have more and more post-modern Harold and Hilda (remember them?) moments. But aren't wearing matching kagoules or jumpers.

I think getting ratty with the kids is a side effect of zealous Zonage.

Aitch I am very confused and vague about that which constitutes Clownfeetgate but hope we haven't fallen out. I laughed at your lurker comment, btw.

bobbiewickham · 14/04/2010 21:17

Wendy Craig wore a pair of those in episode 5 of Butterflies.

noddyholder · 14/04/2010 21:17

love those cyb

cyb · 14/04/2010 21:18

well as La Craig is my style guru, thats fab

OP posts:
dinkystinky · 14/04/2010 21:19

Cyb - not sure about the cork effect on the base...

bobbiewickham · 14/04/2010 21:19

Never said anything wrong with La Craig.

A line floral skirt, wing collared blouse...can do all the above.

Wouldn't shag John Mortimer though.

dinkystinky · 14/04/2010 21:19

Though guess it would come in handy if you were ever trapped in a floodzone...

dinkystinky · 14/04/2010 21:20

Speaking of clothing Bobbie, any advances on your penetration of your rubixcube dress?
