I'm going to eat a bit more today as I honestly don't think I had enough to eat yesterday and felt a bit funny. The weird thing is that it didn't seem too little yesterday (aside from paltry lunch).

So with that in mind, I had half a hot cross bun (with BUTTER) at DS's music class this morning.

Weather shite here too, but at least not snowing.

Hi guys. Mind if I join you? I lurked on your last thread (my God do you lot talk a lot!!!) and having joined and failed many diet threads on MN, I found that the phrase "in the Zone" stuck in my head and I think that I may actually be in that very Zone!

Usually start a diet on Monday morning and give up by Monday afternoon. Not this time. Here we are midway through Wednesday and I am still 'in the Zone'.

Have banished shite to be honest. No biscuits, cakes, processed carbs etc. Have replaced normal bread with that heavy German pumpernickel/rye bread that I think doesn't have wheat in. MmmeLindt will know.

Snacking on fruit and some nuts. Trying to drink lots of water to replace the cups of tea I normally have which tempt me to have crap with them.

And have lost just over a kilo I think!

For exercise I am walking the dog - except for today as it is currently pissing it down. And am off to get waxed one end and hair coloured the other!

Will up the exercise.

Am going on holiday next week which will pose some problems but i will try my best to stick to plan.

Oh, dinky, only in one dress!

Still size 12 in most tops and dresses, and a good 14 in trousers and jeans...have a fair way to go.

I think that dress is just a lucky shape.

Hello Buda and welcome. Yes, I guess that it is a rye bread. I find that I only need a small slice to feel really full.

Am not feeling particularly Zoney today so it was good to read your enthusiastic post.

I am tired. Really tired. Wish I could go to bed, but DD has a play date and I fear it is Bad Form to have a snooze when friends are here.

Do you all know that getting enough sleep is important when losing weight? Cannot remember the reason for it but it is vital. Does not help those of you with young DC but for those of you like myself who get stuck to the couch with MN and wine in the evenings, GO TO BED EARLIER

cocolepew - it looked like I wasn't eating enough from yesterday's list because I had a bug. I honestly normally eat much more than that.

Still weighing in at 9.2 today.

I have walked around all day feeling my hips. I AM SO IN THE ZONE. It is just fantastic feeling thinner, I love it.

I am going to get through Easter weekend by planning a shopping trip the week after. That should do it.

Just had plate of jacket pot and beans for lunch -yummy, salad et al for tea I think.

DH's pasta sauce with roasted red peppers and shallots (he and kids are having meatballs with theirs, I'm not) with small portion of wholemeal spaghetti

I am zoning it big time - 2 lots of torture exercise and on plan for food. Well done to all fellow zoners. BO - snowy run. V impressed.

Went RL shopping with sister and bought these as a replacement for Birkies - they are MORE comfortable. Usually go for something a big less er FLAT. Have I lost all my fashion sense - came from v trendy shop btw.

Howdy, fellow zoners.

Was pleased with yesterdays food. I did slip slightly towards the end of the night. Made cheese on toast (ha! ) for dp and I had two bites of it. And a small slosh of red wine. Didn't feel I'd done myself too much of a disservice today though, altho it was def not in zone terratory. Today so far: tea for breakfast, lunch was carrot and coriander soup with some a celery stick to munch on and dip in soup, which was really quite yummy. Then had small pot of melon with grapes. I'm now eyeing up a jelly (no fat, about 70 cals) which has real live raspberries in the middle.

Dinner might be spag bog if I can be bothered, but I'll have mainly bog with few strands of WM spag.

Go BO for your snow run! Impressivo. I've done no exercise for ages. Maybe a week? Tho I do walk quite fast

Oh and wanted to add, there has been a huge tray of homemade chocolate brownies within reach of my desk and I haven't had a single one. Even the smell, which keeps wafting over, isn't breaking my resolve.

Somebody brought in a box of Celebrations to work today and put them on a desk a few yards from mine for everyone to share.

Thank god my office is filled with gannets - they're all gone and I didn't have a single one of the delicious nasty vegetable-oily things.

MmmeLindt - yes that bread is filling. I can manage more than one piece though! But only of the "Fitness" one which is smaller than the regular.

ReshapeWhileDamp (great name btw!) - that's funny!

So far today I have had one slice of the rye bread with a scrape of Philadelphia Light and a banana for breakfast. Lunch was one slice of the bread again with some tinned salmon and avocado on one slice and another half slice with hummus on. Now sitting here having eaten a mandarin orange which had 13 pips in! Also have some grapes.

Am waxed - had legs and bikini line done. Never had it done by this girl before and OMG it was a bit more intimate than other times!!!! Hurt like hell as she got a bit close to more tender bits! Then got the gray roots on my head dealt with.

Trying to decide what to have for dinner. Have chicken. Have tinned chickpeas or lentils. Have celery, onions, carrots and peppers. Any ideas?
