Ooh Humphrey, will remember that re great gm. Mostly I crave good food - interestingly the things that have completely thrown me off good intentions in the past are bad bad gm food (sugary, processed - haribo, coke, cadbury stuff). Any good stuff i have had too much off, i just see as a wobble.

HumphreyCobbler · 30/03/2010 22:21

No, i have been humphreycobbler for about a year now. I didn't realise there was another one for ages, think she was posting as PartoftheHumphreysgroup last time I saw her.

CrossWords · 30/03/2010 22:23

I am snacking on cashews at the moment, instead of haribo. I don't feel the need to eat the whole pack, I am fine with a few. I do think unrefined sugar is the very devil, clearly...

ReshapeWhileDamp · 30/03/2010 22:25

Today was the first day I've really craved chocolate since joining. There is tons of it in the house - some cooking choc and reduced Lindt bars in the cupboard, and a good stash for easter upstairs. I didn't touch any of it but god, I wanted to. Had grapes instead!

Thinking on it, I might not have helped matters by making chocolate egg decs with DS (cut-up Hotel Chocolat catalogue, pritt stick, egg shapes, etc)...

HumphreyCobbler · 30/03/2010 22:28

sugar is really hard to give up

once I have done it I can't really have any at all, as moderation is not in my skill set

same with bread

LorraineSattell · 30/03/2010 22:28

i do like your new name, reshape.
welcome to the newbs, btw. no rules but no anorexics either.

HumphreyCobbler · 30/03/2010 22:29

or no rules except

DON'T BE A FARKIN PIG

HumphreyCobbler · 30/03/2010 22:30

I actually HEAR that ringing round my head

CrossWords · 30/03/2010 22:32

I have just realised am spending Easter with my parents, who do it as a mini-Christmas (with pigs in blankets too) - realised have savoury prob as well as sugar one.... Just decline, gracefully. That is the way

ReshapeWhileDamp · 30/03/2010 22:33

Thanks Lorraine

Do you hear it when you open the fridge, Humph? I do.

MamaGlee · 30/03/2010 22:33

hello hello

MamaGoblin i feel v guilty now
cahnge back if you want
i don't mind really

[shame]

CrossWords · 30/03/2010 22:34

And they always have a big big bowl of Lindor balls. Bollocks

ReshapeWhileDamp · 30/03/2010 22:35

So what are we all doing at Easter, when everyone else is merrily unwrapping their eggs? Me, I'm planning some relaxation and a moderate amount of chocolate. I know I'll put a spanner in the weight loss, but I'll also get back on (because of this thread, mostly). I'd rather be honest with myself and allow this to happen than beat myself up about it.

ReshapeWhileDamp · 30/03/2010 22:36

Hello MamaG! Don't be ashamed, I've meant to namechange for ages anyway. I'm still MamaGoblin, I've just decided to use this as well, esp. on this thread. Makes sense.

MamaGlee · 30/03/2010 22:37

I'm going on holiday on sunday
v worried aobut hoggery

will maybe piglet, rather thanf ll hog

All those who didnt' realise me and MamaGoblin were two different posters did you think I ate TWO lots of food a day? fgs

MmeLindt · 30/03/2010 22:46

I keep seeing Lindt in the middle of a post and wondering why they are talking about me.

We are going to the PILs. Carb and fat heaven. Lots of bratwurst, sauerbraten, sahnesauce...

ReshapeWhileDamp · 30/03/2010 22:46

I've asked DH for a microscopic egg, barely bigger than a creme one. (ahem, let's forget the posh chocs I already squirelled away...)

We're having lamb, will try not to eat the fatty bits. I'm making cornflake crispy cakes with DS too, which frankly are going to be more of a temptation than the easter eggs!

Am going to bed, dead tired today.

Hi everyone

I posted a while ago on the old thread but haven't been on here for a few days so thought I would come and say hello again. I hope everyone are doing well. My last couple of weeks haven't been wonderful weight loss wise, I have just lost half a pound each of the last two weeks.

Having said that, from this week now I am not eating mainly the Go Lower food anymore, I'm making mostly my own food too. Well, I have just started doing this since yesterday so it's still new and we'll see how it goes.

cyb · 31/03/2010 07:12

mummymels what is Go Lower? is it low calorie crap stuff? Not sure ow sustaiable that is long term (thats my mantra LONG TERM)

cyb · 31/03/2010 07:14

And Humph I'm with you on the sugar front...I'm really having a microfraction of what I had (maybe 1/2 a teaspoon in coffee if I'm flagging) But as an addict its the only way

I'm visiting outlaws AND inlaws this weekend...worried

And not just about the food
