Here we are again

AND RELAX......

OP posts:
NomDePlume · 31/03/2010 19:08

oh good, that's 3 of us.

We ate early tonight (5pm) as DH and I had the day off and we had DD's parents' evening at 5.30. Can't eat later than 6.45 or I end up having to row later. I prefer to leave at least an hour between food and exercis to let it settle or I get a stitch and whatnot.

NomDePlume · 31/03/2010 19:11

dunno gherk, i never lose weight PMT week no matter how well I eat. Doubt I'll lose this week (period week - tmi) either as still all water retention-y.

NomDePlume · 31/03/2010 19:14

Tea makes me want biscuits and there is a packet of maryland cookies in the cupboard (1/3 of pack) and they'll call me. I might have a highlights hot choc, it'll satisfy my choc craving and still be within points.

Actually, points wise, I could have a cuppa and 3 rich tea biscuits and still be under my points allowance.

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 31/03/2010 19:18

Did you resist Cyb?

Our cat2 is a thug but he NEVER mauls DS1 even under the most appalling provocation. He waits for me or DH and then takes it out on us in revenge.

NomDePlume · 31/03/2010 19:21

Porridge, my DS2 is 16.5 so is old enough for a mauling. cat2 obviously agrees

NomDePlume · 31/03/2010 19:22

hence why we laughed, wouldn't have laughed if DS2 was dinky but as he is a big strapping wind up merchant if was bloody funny

BosomsByTheSea · 31/03/2010 19:26

OK all you chocolate sneakers! I have been very good today.

Breakfast: oatso simple
Lunch: poached salmon salad
no snacks. not sure what's for tea yet.

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 31/03/2010 19:36

16.5 is well old enough for a mauling. DS is almost 6 but sometimes I do think that a brief slap from the cat might not go amiss. I would certainly encourage it if I thought it would prevent the bugger from sharpening it's claws on my arse.

NomDePlume · 31/03/2010 19:38

duckyfuzz · 31/03/2010 20:07

too many posts!

good day today, have lost a couple of pounds this week I reckon, am in the zone and have been to the gym after work

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 31/03/2010 20:14

Just had illicit hop on scales and am 1/2lb heavier than last fri. So I reckon that is at least a pound down this week with a day still to go.

Feeling motivated..

Undertone · 31/03/2010 20:24

Back from work early enough to leap on the cross-trainer for 10 minutes to warm up and then get out and do a lap of Crystal Palace park. V proud of myself - with warm-up, x-training, run, and then sit-ups I was exercising constantly for an HOUR!

I reckon that's at least one pint of cider burned off from Monday night. Now eating salad and feeling about a million times better than this morning, even though I think Friday's weigh-in will be a disappointment.

Buda · 31/03/2010 20:27

Crikey - 12 pages! At least it was when I started reading!

Slimcea - thanks for offer of posting piri piri! Am going home to Dublin week after next so will stock up on stuff then. And there is a shop here which does stuff like that. Not nando's though.

Can't remember who asked about lemon chicken dish and can't be bothered scrolling back on iPhone but it was nice. Very tasty. I added red pepper and some ras al hanout spice mix and two cloves of garlic. Dh had rice but I resisted. Then resisted while both he and ds were eating chocolates. Have had 3 White wine sodas though.

YoginiBikini · 31/03/2010 20:58

Too much to read. overload of people in the zone.

like the scholls though. remind me of plasters though

Like the poo text in assembly

I am not a teacher, well kind of...

welcome Buda

I am in the zone and feeling good. Where has my massive appetite gone? I was a pig

Off to eat very small meal of king prawn and salad with nice glass of wine

mummymels · 31/03/2010 20:59

Wow, you ladies do like to talk!

Cyb ? Go Lower is low carb and they send you all your meals in the post. I started in October and have now lost 64.5 lbs so am very chuffed with myself although the last few weeks the weight loss has really slowed down but I suppose it had to at some point. Good luck with the family visits this weekend.

BariatricObama ? Well done on reaching your March target.

Undertone ? I agree the weather makes me feel like hibernating which is not good with two children here. No snow where I am though.

Buda ? Hello and good luck.

Bobbiewickham ? I think any size 10 is brilliant, even if it is just the one. Well done. I can dream of that!

CheeeseOnToast ? I don?t know how you have resisted those chocolate brownies. Just the thought of them is making me fancy one now!

Dinner ready, better go and eat, will carry on later.

YoginiBikini · 31/03/2010 21:03

Oh dear. dd1 is crying hysterically because she tried an old ring on her finger which is now stuck fast

Mummy with olive oil to the rescue

cyb · 31/03/2010 21:04

cyb · 31/03/2010 21:24

I know its terible. I felt myself going straight away. I'd only had oatibix, small bowl of soup and a pear until then. Oh and a hot cross bun (well it IS easter)

OP posts:
isthatporridgeinyourhair · 31/03/2010 21:25

OMG No1 - when you reach your ideal size I think we need to work on alcohol tolerances, otherwise it will just all end in tears.

OMG No2 - I'd imagined the cleaner's leaving do as a booze fest and now am disappointed.

duckyfuzz · 31/03/2010 21:25

its cos you are such a light weight now

must now confess to 2 small glasses of white myself
