My total weight loss in two weeks is 4.5lbs. I feel so pleased with myself only about 28 more pounds to go.

OMG! Another 1.5lbs off after xmas, thats 12lbs in total now, 2 more lbs and it will be my first stone.
HOWEVER have just got back from having a carvery for MIL's birthday and they all had huge puddings...i didnt but ive just eaten 4 thorntons chocolates.
What is upsetting is that not one single person has commented on my weight loss. I havent told any one at work that i am at weight watchers, a few family members know that i go but no one has said to me that they can tell.
Ah well, onto my next stone as soon as these 2 lbs are shifted.
Good luck every one.

Hi - can I join in? I did WW two years ago and lost 2 stone but have now regained all but 3lbs of it. I woke up this morning and felt so bloody miserable that I dragged ds to the nearest meeting. So now I'm back counting and determined to get down to 9 and half stone.

One thing I need to check - I left my handbook at the meeting by accident and can't remember how many points I should be on (I'm 10st11 at the moment). Is it 18 or 20 per day?

Thanks Dior - you're a star!

F
What age are you? 38
How tall are you? 5'4"
What do you weigh? 10 st 11lb
How active are you every day? Um. Not very apart from running round after kids. I've just started jogging but I guess that won't factor in cause I'll give myself bonus points on the days I do it, right?

Thanks for that Dior - I thought it was only eighteen but I'm celebrating the good news that it's twenty with a packet of twigletts!

It's great that you're on track - it's so hard to get your head into the groove, isn't it? How are you doing today?

I've been v good since Saturday but only cause I remembered from last time that the only way I can cope is if I save a good five points for snacks in the evenings. If I get to 8pm and have run out of points I panic and stuff my face .

Thanks again for your help - I really appreciate it.

tiopepe · 09/01/2006 16:52

am doing WW too ladies - lost 12lbs in the summer but now put 6 back on . How many extra points do you think I can have for BF? I only do 2 feeds a day and dd is 9 months so I don't think I can justify the whole 5 which the book says....

How was the weekend?

Donbean, do you go to a gym in Blackpool?, because I can recommend a lovely one and I have a free 3 day pass if you want it, CAT me if you're interested and I can send it you, you could go and use the pool, jacuzzi, sauna & steamroom if you didn't fancy the actual gym.

Hi guys, sorry I haven't been in touch in ages! Went home to Mum's for Christmas and was really strict with myself apart from Christmas Day (part of my pressie to myself) so I managed to maintain my weight loss and for the first time ever not put on any weight over Christmas!!

However - I haven't had what you would call the best start to the New Year. On the 4th of January I was rushed to Wrexham Maelor Hospital with appendicitis and had an emergency op to whip it out. Since then I've not been able to be hugely active as, although it was keyhole, cos my appendix was so inflamed (and cos of my weight) the scars are a bit bigger than normal so are taking longer to heal and are really flippin' sore Think I've gone way off track now and I'm only just back to near being able to get in and out of a car without doubling over in agony so haven't been to class in AGES. Am dreading the scales sniff

lumpkin · 23/01/2006 11:01

Can somebody tell me what I actually get for my money, by signing up to WW online? I can't seem to find any info on the site. Thanks!

puddle · 26/01/2006 16:34

Hi Lumpkin

I have signed up to the online thing and am in my second week. Basically you enter all your info, they set a goal weight for you, get your points allowance calculated, loads of info and some snazzy little things like a points tracketr which automatically works out the points value of foods and helps you keep track of what you've had every day - I've found that v useful and keeps me on track. Loads of recipe info, exercise info, lots of motivational stuff about changing your habits - I've found it good so far. Even discussion boards (haven't ventured on to those)

Have no time to go to meetings and don't like the idea of them really, but I'm finding it all quite easy to follow on-line and can see already I have lost weight.

lumpkin · 27/01/2006 11:28

Thanks Puddle!
Am too scared to go to the meetings - I'm imagining it to be just like Fat Fighters!!

PeachyClair · 27/01/2006 11:46

LOl!

I was terrified of the meetings too, but they were really relaxed and friendly- nobody else gets to know your weight, or anything so don't be scareed.

jofeb04 · 28/01/2006 14:37

basmati 3 points per portion
popadom 1.5 points.

Donbean · 28/01/2006 20:51

Im totalling a loss now of 16lbs.
But im struggling a bit now.
I stayed the same this week as its my binge week in my cycle where i HAVE to have sweet things.
Im sticking to 20 points as im finding that its enough and more often than not ive got points left over.
I think that i should go down now to 18 BUT really dont want to as i feel as though i will be depriving myself and may be hungry.
What do you leaders think about 18 one day then alternate days 20?
Do you think that this will slow things down or even stop the weight loss?
Need inspiring and encouraging words.
Got another stone or so to go. (im 5.1 and 9st 8lbs at the mo)

lillylove · 19/02/2006 21:57
