My total weight loss in two weeks is 4.5lbs. I feel so pleased with myself only about 28 more pounds to go.

mmmmm should I reward myself with a chocci biscuit?? or should I stick with the ww fruitie sweets???????????

Dior, am not surprised you are low- from what you have said you don't get a lot of support. This website is NOT your job you know- much as your input is valued and loved by all we also wouldn't want you to take too much on and get ill! Ok?

Hi Dior,

I know that drifting through life feeling, and it's horrible. I've been feeling down too recently and the one thing that has been helping me is to try and do some exercise every day. Mostly just walking, but it does help and I feel I'm doing something constructive health wise even though I haven't been following WW strictly. I bought a pedometer and I'm doing the recommended 10,000 steps a day to lose/maintain weight, so that makes me feel more positive and my weight has gone down again. And doing just one constructive thing a day that you need to get done (however little) always makes me feel better. Forcing yourself to do things usually means you end up doing more. But you probably know all this already.

One more thing - you've done amazingly well to lose a fair amount of weight (presumably) and to become a leader you must have maintained for a while. You've come so far, have faith that you're not going to veer off course too much. Sometime living is like flying a finely tuned aeroplane; you have to keep making small adustments to keep the plane flying straight and on course because it naturally doesn't want to do that.

Congratulations Dior! Now that must be ample motivation! Sounds like it was very timely.

linnywith2 · 19/11/2005 15:12

Hi everyone..
Dior, sorry to hear all's not well with you and as was said before, dont feel you have to come here and motivate everyone if you're not up to it look after yourself chick..
pc.. congrats to you,,
as for me, im still maintaining, though im still weighing in every week, think id lose the plot totally if i didnt, i dont think im strong enough to go it alone just yet,

Reindior · 19/11/2005 18:32

I'm fine, but thanks Linny. I just don't post as much on here, because it all seems so pointless sometimes. I still post on the craft and WW threads though.

pjsmum · 22/11/2005 13:04

Hello, how's it all going. In need of a bit of inspiration please. Been the same weight now since the beg of Sept no matter what i try nothing works. Stick to the plan, excerise, eat vasts amount of rubbish doesn't matter what i do every week the same. Any suggestions anyone please? Would stay to the meetings but 9 month dd won't allow! Not interesting enough for her!!

TaiTai · 22/11/2005 20:29

Hi pjsmum. How frustrating for you! How far from your goal are you, and are you within the recommended weigt range for your height? I just wondered whether maybe you had reached your body's 'natural' weight. I know you can't stay for the meetings, but have you had a word with your leader? I'm sure she would speak to you before the meeting. She must have noticed how you haven't changed weight!

pjsmum · 23/11/2005 08:05

Hi TaiTai acouple of friends that this must be my natural weight but its not. Im the weight i was when a started WW before getting pregnant and i lost 2 stone. Its annoying cos i wont beable to get to meetings after xmas cos back at work so really wanted to get most of excess shifted before then. Its a nightmare

dublindee · 02/12/2005 16:31

Hi guys - feeling a bit shamefaced for not checking in before now. Had a great time in Rome having lost 11lbs before my friend's wedding.

I vowed the day of the wedding I'd eat and drink what I wanted and behave like a saint for the rest. As it turned out I didn't have to stress about the food at all as we walked our socks off. Plus, apart from your typical Irish wedding, the alcohol didn't really flow much as I was very well behaved. It was soooo hard to get back to the routine when we returned home though and as we had a stream of visitors I missed a few weeks. Then when I was all set to go back I was taken ill with a - wait for it it's a long one!- viral upper respiratory tract infection. So basically since October 15th (the wedding) I've managed to lose the grand total of 5lbs . Not a happy bunny.

Linny, well done you - an cailin is fearr! Have rellies in Roscrea and ambulance land plus I pass through to visit my fave aunt and uncle in Shannon so I know Tipp quite well. Wish I was a gold member

Dior take care of yourself pet, hopefully it'll get better for ya soon.

PC WOW well done!

Right, well that's you lot warned that I'm back - gotta go feed my gorgeous little son.

Ciao! (see I'm fluent after only 4 days !)

Donbean · 02/12/2005 17:44

Hi
I started week before last and so far have shifted 6lbs.
Dont know what to have for tea, any suggestions? Ive got 12 points left i think for today.

fee77 · 02/12/2005 22:41

I had ww mushroom and garlic pizza - not bad for 7 points, but can only get it in asdas!
I lost 2 1/2 this week, so am now only 2 lbs away from my "new" goal weight - can i do it before christmas!!!! I feel very inspired now, but am sorely tempted by the mince pies. Luckily i am so busy at the mo i am burning off calories at a fair rate!
Hope every one is ok!

Donbean · 07/12/2005 18:20

Could any one tell me the points value of:
2 thick slices of white bloomer bread, small helping of chicken (roast) and aprox 1tsp of sage and onion stuffing, with a scrape of flora light?

dublindee · 08/12/2005 08:18

Hi Peeps!
Went to class Monday and (drum-roll please) I lost 4 lbs!!!! Am ecstatic and feeling VERY motivated this week.

Donbean - depends on your definition of thick! Bread can be a tricky one to point if you don't know the weight. I'd say 3 for the bread 1 for the chicken and 1 for the stuffing and flora. Anyone wanna jump in with more accurate points?

Donbean · 08/12/2005 19:18

Ah well done!
regardless of doorstop sarny i had the other day, i lost another 3lbs this week. Thats 9lbs in 3 weeks so far so good!

fruitcake · 13/12/2005 08:28

How many points in a slice of dark, heavy, fruity xmas cake (but without almond paste & icing?)... wafer thin slice, great doorstop slice... any ideas? Thanks.

linnywith2 · 14/12/2005 21:08

Hi everyone..
been ages since i posted. busy busy busy...
am still maintaining, struggling tho at times..
and am so dreading being surrounded by goodies over the next few weeks as i have no self control at all! tho i do love xmas, i dont want to pile on the pounds because of it!
well done dublin dee, your doing great and i no time you'll be at your goal,, keep it up! maith an cailin!
agus nollaig shona duit!
so girls, any tips on surviving xmas? i know its inevitable that i'll gain few lbs unless i tape my mouth shut..

dublindee · 15/12/2005 09:53

Lost another pound this week!! Really dreading Christmas as my Mum always has enough food in to feed a small African nation anyway but at Christmas could feed the whole continent!! So like Linny I'm afraid I'll put on but I'd probably end up worse off than when I started. -sniff-

Linny - Go raibh mile maith agat agus Nollaig shona agus Athbhliain fe mhaise dhuit fosta.

Donbean · 15/12/2005 19:51

Stayed the same this week, gutted as ive been averaging 12/14 points a day because i was saving up to go for an Indian meal.
I saved 30 points AND had boiled rice, no nan bread a small starter etc. GUTTED i am.

Fantastic! 45lbs, that is so inspirational.
So far ive lost 10.5lbs, im pleased about this and over xmas ive been very good, only had blow outs 3 days over a 2.5 week period. Its weigh in tomorow so fingers crossed.
I am so very focussed and determined ive been watching every thing im eating. Ive given away most of my boxes of chocs and bickies and have saved myself a box of Thorntons and have one every other day or so. Im not missing out this way.
You are probably right about banking points Dior, all it is is that i am most likely to go off the rails in the evening so i save points during the day for this, in actual fact i am not wanting any thing at night so they have added up.
Dont worry though im sure that they will all have been gobbled up over xmas!
Fingers crossed for weigh day tomorrow. LOL my DS calls it "fat club, Are we going to fat club mummy?"

linnywith2 · 05/01/2006 21:40
