Thought I would start the new thread........ Attended class last night and managed to lose 3.5lbs, my friend lost the same - can't believe that we werre half a stone lighter!

My total weight loss in two weeks is 4.5lbs. I feel so pleased with myself only about 28 more pounds to go.

mmmmm should I reward myself with a chocci biscuit?? or should I stick with the ww fruitie sweets???????????

hi all i joined ww last night
I have / want / need it to work this time i've decided to do the full choice as i feel it's fit in better with family life for me.

look forward to chatting to you all.

fifilala · 28/10/2005 08:27

well done mv, made up for your disappointment the week before - me on the other hand put the 0.5 back on!! New I couldn't keep up to the 4 lost the week before. Not hopeful for next week as it will be that time of the month again when the weight just seems to pile on (and that is without eating!)

can any one please tell me how many points are in a kfc zinger tower burgar and a medium fries please

fee77 · 28/10/2005 15:56

I stayed the same this week - but it was my birthday!! DH cooked me a lovely meal, followed by ww chocolate rum and raisin bread and butter pudding!!!! I think it was the wine that did it though.
I got some money for my birthday so am planning a shopping trip for new clothes, when dh finally gets home - really don't want to take dd with me!!

fee77 · 28/10/2005 16:13

Are you sure you want to know princess?
Zinger tower burger = 11 1/2
Regular fries = 6
How many points are you allowed in a day?
By the way, i had to look those up, i didn't just know them, honest!

pjsmum · 01/11/2005 20:54

Well for 2 weeks now i've stayed the same. Good going really as I've not really stuck to it. The first week i followed nocount but im too much of a greedy pig for that Ate fat too much. This week only managed full choice for 3 days, so staying the same is ok i reckon. Have given myself the target of 10 pounds to lose before xmas. Got 8 weeks so here goes!

Bumbled · 02/11/2005 19:06

Hi, would it be ok if I joined you ladies?? Just been back to WW after a haitus of 6 months - which was lovely, no dieting - and only put on 2 pounds - woo hoo! BUT I do need to loose a stone before trying for no. 3 otherwise I'll never control the weight thing...

Also what has happened to Catsmother? I was so inspired by her progress I thought I might try the no count thing, and then didn't hear back after 24.5 pounds in 8 weeks?! Is she still around?

Would love to try for 2 pounds a week until Christmas... how many times have I said that! Sorry about the rambley post

fifilala · 02/11/2005 21:03

despite it being that time of the month - another 1lb lost = 13 all together..........Slowly but surely it is coming off, had some trousers on tonight and ww leader askd where my bottom had gone!!!!! - pants v big around that area!

Hi all..
hope you're all doing ok..
as usual, i had a bad weekend food-wise, but have been trying hard over past few days to make up for it.. was down 1.5 lb last week which was a complete miracle considering how bad i was the previous weekend..
my motivation to lose another half stone has gone out the window since reaching my goal..
have become very complacent which probably is the norm and i dont know if i can lose anymore
i'll re-phrase that.. i know i can lose more but dunno if i want to.. should i just be glad i've reached my goal and concentrate on maintaining current weight?
am i being greedy wanting more and more??
i now weigh 9-12, my goal originally was 10st..
am 5'4".. thoughts please??

Bumbled · 03/11/2005 09:58

Morning Linney, I have to say in my experience, every time I've lost weight and felt fantastic, I've blighted it by trying to loose 'just another 2 pounds' almost like we're pre-programmed to try the whole time, and not relax and enjoy ourselves.

Without wishing to sound too heavy, could it be that you find it hard to say 'this is what I'm meant to be - I look fab and I love it'??! If I was you (please God) I would try and stop, and enjoy feeling like a success, and relax about what you eat. If anything else comes off it's a bonus, but its not a big deal as you know you're where you're supposed to be..... IYSWIM

I think you've done amazingly well for what it's worth...

linnywith2 · 06/11/2005 14:45

Thanks bumbled..
that's some sound advice you've given me and im gonna take it..
my family and friends all have said same thing to me so im just gonna relax about it now..
been doin ww since april and have lost 35lbs..
its hard to suddenly think i dont need to be so hell bent on losing now when its been my way of life so-to-speak for the past 7 mths..
Getting presented with my gold card this week so am thrilled about that.. this has been my 5th attempt at ww in 7 years and the first time i've stuck at it and reached my goal..
its so worth it in the end..

Bumbled · 07/11/2005 10:35

Waaa Hey! Well done! I have to say I've been the same, done WW for getting married, post having babies etc, but never got to goal, so I can't imagine how brilliant that must feel!

Fingers crossed I'm going to get there this time before getting pregnant and spoiling it all.... I'm trying the no count thing as I was so inspired reading catsmother's progress.

We'll have to see, but so far so good. Went to a christening at the weekend and even managed to turn down canapes and cakes! DH barely recognised me

Springchicken · 07/11/2005 11:54

I'm back with a vengance now ladies.

I am currently 11st approx. (Need to weigh myself tonight to confirm) I want to be 10 stone as an ideal weight but would be happy going to 10st 7lb. Got to lose it before Xmas then maintain until February when my brther is getting married then I will be back on to lose again after February ready for my wedding in July. If i can get to 10st 7lb for February that would be great and then 10st could be my goal for the wedding.
