My total weight loss in two weeks is 4.5lbs. I feel so pleased with myself only about 28 more pounds to go.

Well, went to Cwmbran today to browse and ... had to buy an enire outfit !

Why?

tried it on and it was a 12 and FITTED ME!

I was an 18 when I started ww.....

PeachyClair · 08/11/2005 15:41

Course WW is in Wales... I am in Wales, they're everywhere! Try the WW site, you can do a postcode search

notasheep · 08/11/2005 21:02

Lucycinco is in Spain, she wants Montse.Montse is fantastic, the best, you will win with Montse Bradford!

TaiTai · 08/11/2005 23:22

Help! I had lost ten pounds but stopped doing the plan; it is time consuming when you have to add up all your points and to be truthful, I had a stressful time and wanted to comfort eat (not binge, but reward myself with nice lunches out and chocolate treats). Surprise, surprise I've put on four pounds. I am very depressed and angry with myself about it. I didn't go to a family wedding reception primarily because I didn't want people to see me the size I was. I am going on an exotic beach holiday in two and a half weeks time and I am really angry that I will look like a beached whale. I would like to lose half a stone in that time to hopefully fit in some clothes. But getting back into the plan seems like hard work. No Count just isn't going to work for me because I like the flexibility, I just have to get back into it. I'm depressed at the thought I'll never lose weight.

TaiTai · 08/11/2005 23:26

To put it into context, I've got 3.5 stones to lose before I'm at the max of my healthy weight range. Which is why I feel depressed about not having lost substantially more weight for my holiday - there is a long way to go!

TaiTai · 08/11/2005 23:28

And btw, I'm VERY jealous PeachyClair. I'm a 18/20 and long to be a 12. It's the stuff dreams are made of (well mine, anyway).

TaiTai · 08/11/2005 23:29

PeachyClair, I should add that as well as feeling jealous I feel very proud for you because it's a big achievement. So pat on the back!

I'll stop posting now.

Mummyvicky · 09/11/2005 11:54

Peachyclair- Wow well done you! its a fantastic feeling isn't it ? I can't wait until I get back to goal again!!
TaiTai- I know the feeling exactly, you just have to want to get to goal enough to stick with it. 3 years ago I lost 4 stone after having DS1 with WWs in 10 months- I had such determination - nothing was going to stop me!! Two children later and 4 stone to go again I've managed to lose 24 lbs in 15 weeks and now feeling very despondant, binge eating for a day then having to live off about 6 points the next day.
I have set myself some mini goals and written them on paper and stuck it to the wall so everyone can see!!
I want to get back to goal so much, I just have to remind myself how crap it feels to be fat before a piece of food goes into my mouth!!
its worked this week and I lost 2lbs last night. Dont let this beat you..You Can do it if you want it enough!! xx

PeachyClair · 09/11/2005 12:47

TaiTai- don't be silly! I understand exactly where ou are coming from, remember I was exactly there before I got here (IYKWIM?)

I had to do it coz of a family history of heart probs and a concerned doctor. I'd spent years trying to do it for looks sake, but the health warning was the key.

fee77 · 11/11/2005 11:43

I have done it - i am now under 12 stone!!!!! AFter i had dd i weighed in at a whopping 16 stone, so that is 4 stone gone yipee!
My original goal was 12st, but i am going for 11 1/2 now - boy it feels good!
Sorry to gloat - for everyone who is starting, or struggling, stick with it - if i can do it, any one can.
Has anyone seen dior lately? She hasn't been around for a while

fifilala · 11/11/2005 12:09

peachyclair - i was the same re heart trouble - mum having heart bypass this year was my reason for starting ww - started the night after i saw her on a ventilator - luckily doing brill now. I have lost 13lbs so far and am a bit stuck again, seem to loose a pound then stick.....aiming for 3 pounds this week which will loose me my first stone and get me my 10%

Congratulations fee, its a great feeling and achievement

TaiTai · 11/11/2005 18:18

yes, congratulations fee on getting to under 12st. And thanks for the support, guys. It is motivating that I am not the only one with a lot of weight to lose (btw 4-5 stone) and that many of you have managed it. Don't you find it a constant struggle to keep to the points and keep counting them? I got out for lunch or something and it's difficult to stick to the plan. I spend more points than I planned and then I think, oh well, I'll enjoy today (i.e. eat what I want!) and start again tomorrow. Problem is I do that a lot!

fee77 · 11/11/2005 21:25

I knwo what you mean - i tend to eat at home or take sandwiches, that way i can control points. If i do go out, i make sure i have a really good couple of days afterwards.
It will come though - don't give up! DO you get chance to do any exercise? I used to "power" walk as i pushed the buggy round town, and i bought one of thouse little trampoline things.

TaiTai · 11/11/2005 21:45

Yes, I do a lot of walking. Funny thing is that I had some personal training sessions recently and the PT said I was pretty fit. Problem is I have flab over the muscle . In order to lose weight through exercise I have to do a lot and/or make it very strenuous, because I do have a good base level of fitness. After my daughter was born earlier this year I was doing at least an hour of walking every day, but it didn't make any difference to my weight because I've walked a lot for some time now, and I guess I was eating a fair bit too . I do have some great exercise DVDs but I've been very bad and haven't done them recently.

However, on the flip side I was thinking earlier of getting some chocolate as I'd already gone off plan today, but I didn't because I was motivated by this thread and so I had some fruit instead. I am going to get back into my exercise regime tomorrow.

TaiTai · 11/11/2005 21:47

One thing I could definitey do with my walking is to up the speed - I wouldn't say I power walk most of the time.

linnywith2 · 12/11/2005 14:20

TaiTai,, you WILL get there.. try not to be thinking about the 4-5 stone you've got to lose. break it down into half stone at a time..
and remember it is going to take time to shift the weight.. it doesnt go on over night so it aint gonna come off over night either..
each pound you lose is a pound closer to goal so dont forget to congratulate yourself on each and every one.. try not to let one slip up in the day become a bad day.. or dont let 1 bad day become a bad week.. we're all behind you!!

pc.. well done to you.. it is such a good feeling
fee77.. you're amazing, well done to you!
Dior, ark, where are you girls??

PeachyChrimbo · 13/11/2005 14:48

Was officially made a gold member yesterday.

Didn't get there for it though, as too much college work so missed the event. Seems a shame.

but still

fee77 · 14/11/2005 11:07

Sorry to hear that Dior..Its really hard when depressed to even think about whats going into your mouth, let alone count points- so I sympathise totally, and wish you all the best.
