true, true

this trhead is getting SLOW again.

Its too much fun!

duckyfuzz · 22/03/2010 18:51

feeling weary today, PMT plus dull dull dull conference thing this morning, resisted biscuits, it ended at lunchtime but no lunch provided, went with friend to cafe had tom and mozz salad, she had v tasy looking panini but she is not in the zone atm since then apple, bacon salad with seeds

v impressed with everyone's restraint, am anticipating a weight gain this week as PMT will soon become major bloating

bobbiewickham · 22/03/2010 18:54

Well done duckyfuzz - and if you gain weight due to PMT you are likely to have a bigger weight loss next week, cos all the fluid will be gone.

largeginandtonic · 22/03/2010 19:00

Exactly what i was going to say Bobbie. Big weight loss the week after for you Duck

You licked the masher?! I did not lick when i was feding the baby carrot cake. I washed hands instead < preen >

I don't know what to have for tea. Went shopping today but am feeling tired and spinny outy.

Might just have a ww meal and some salado.

largeginandtonic · 22/03/2010 19:03

Lol at paper cake case of custard.

I keep walking in to the kitchen for a snack too. Walk round open every cupboard at least twice. Leave again.

Su the corn thins (after much shelf searching) are delicious. I bought the multigrain ones.

bobbiewickham · 22/03/2010 19:03

When I did slimming world years ago the leader used to call period week "star week" and let you off if you put weight on.

So...I used to go completely postal on biscuits during star week...

SuSylvester · 22/03/2010 19:04

mamagiblin

bobbiewickham · 22/03/2010 19:04

Corn thins are like crack.

How many are too many?

And how much caramelised onion humous is too much to put on them?

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 22/03/2010 19:06

have had revelation today

My job means I cannot drink enough of working days - mon-tthus - so am LOADS greedier hungrier as a result. Do have a bottle of water with me at all times bt can't leave rampaging ASBo teens while I nip for a wazz.

Is a shewee the answer?

duckyfuzz · 22/03/2010 19:06

thanks for encouragement, have now been sneezing constantly for about 5 mins, so feeling even more sorry for myself, will try to resist resorting to chocolate

duckyfuzz · 22/03/2010 19:07

shewee in front of asbo teens

duckyfuzz · 22/03/2010 19:08

I will be hunting down corn thins at sainsbos later in the week, which shelf?

geordieminx · 22/03/2010 19:08

Currently nursing a pint of water... grim grim grim

Have toddlers committee torture meeting at 8, so have a tesco low kcal meal in the oven. Cauli cheese I think - only 240kcal in the whole lot so will make up for the little snacks I have had today, the main one being 3 1 of ds's chicken dippers.

Why is it that things like that always taste soooooo much nicer when you are on a diet? Normally chicken dippers = bleurgh today chicken dippers = food of gods

Ds got a creme egg easter egg from Nursey today - it is sitting on the window sil taunting me.... bastard.

SuSylvester · 22/03/2010 19:09

corn thins are not as low cal as i htouhg but

( cue this is the way sue sees it)

are ENDORSED for week one

geordieminx · 22/03/2010 19:10

PMSL at sheewee... quite literally.

geordieminx · 22/03/2010 19:12

You're right it wont I fecking hate the little bastards. I would rather eat my own shit than a creme egg... BUT THATS NOT THE POINT

bobbiewickham · 22/03/2010 19:13

Lo cal ready meals are the food of the devil.

They make me feel a bit like killing myself.

They sit on the plate, usually the size of a fag packet, in a little pool of liquid, just hating you.

Boil up some pasta, microwave a potato, anything but that crap.

You'll be starving again by nine.

And that goes for blardy m and s count on us, too.

YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN A LO CAL READY MEAL

(new thread title?)

yy to choc bars haunting you. I have a Bounty in the cupboard. Been there all week.

Am having a diet coke. Just put a corn cob in the microwave. On the packet it says 121 kcals! Surely not? Veg is freeeeeee.

Am having it with ww sweet and sour chicken.

I went to Tesco Ducky. Was with all the crackers just hidden. Prob going out of stock because of Su.

It will be like Bottom Butter all over again.

SuSylvester · 22/03/2010 19:15

my market shopping has increased a lot.
veg much more diverse,

remember butternut suqash is no points = that roasted with onions parsnip etc and some whoel garlic cloves

a nice tiny pice of lamb on teh bbq

MMM

OP posts:
geordieminx · 22/03/2010 19:15

because

I am a lazy slattern

because dh will not eat veg so I get fed up of making 3 different meals

I have an hour of torture at toddler commiteee at 8

I am a lazy slattern

I couldnt think of anything else

Nah, in all honesty I really should start and make proper meals, but I can never think of nice things that are tasty/quick/low cal.

Any inspiration would be apprecitated.

Will def make curry from further down thread.
