Hiya,

Am starting Monday, I have not weighed myself yet and think I probably need to loose close to 3 stone but am aiming for 2 by end of March.

Will weigh myself in here on Monday and update each Monday after.
Anyone want to join me?

Fulton, that sounds really yummy. I might go and buy some cherry tomatoes. I just have my rice cakes with low fat soft cheese on and it is a bit boring.

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/01/2010 09:49

that does sound yummy - i like rivita 1/2p each and dip in low fat humous - i do like crispbread and know what you mean about having a low point lunch and then can enjoy tea

kayzr- what do you do/can you not eat/snack at work? have a slima soup instead of cuppa/coffee if in an office?

mum2OliNoandJess · 07/01/2010 09:51

i had a bad night too last night. My 18 week old was up from 4:30 till just before 6. In between my 2 year old got up and when finally got to bed finally fell asleep and woke late to get my 5 year old to school so a lot of running around. working from home today so thats something.
But tired...

FultonMcKay · 07/01/2010 09:53

My homemade salsa kicks arse. Get toms, peppers, garlic, onion, chilis and cut up really, really small (don't blend it though), add lemon juice and balsamic vinegar. It takes AGES to make but I always make huge bowl of it. It is zero points and fecking fantastic. Just mess around with quantities until you get it right.

MABS · 07/01/2010 09:53

i'm the opposite, at home i graze, at work i am too busy to eat. been stuck home since tues at 4 coz of snow, no exercise, going mad and eating loads

Disenchanted3 · 07/01/2010 10:06

Morning, just did 10 mins of Davina, my mum has my weights so when she drops them off I'll do the rest.

I think my wii might get here tomorrow.

Had special K for breakfast but I think that was a mistake as cereal just doesn't fill me up so already thinking about toast

Will hold out till 12 for lunch though.

I got some covent garden soups 3 poins for the huge container so will have half, carot and corriander. yum.

Wish this snow would go away, I want to go for some long walks but cant as its so slippy and I can't push the buggy through the snow

Id love a treadmill, theres the £500 reebok i-run on sale at argos for £250, I dlove that but cant afford it unfortunatly, boo!

dischanted- how much cereal do you have? most are 10g for 1/2p - book says portion is 30g so 1.5p but thats tiny,i prefer a big bowl 40/50g so 2-2.5p plus .5p for skim and fills me up=3p in all

Disenchanted3 · 07/01/2010 10:17

yes special k at 3 points including ss milk for a whole bowl, but its just cereal in general doesn't do it for me but i couldn't be bothered.i usaually have it in the evening as a 'sweets stopper' rather than a meal.

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 07/01/2010 10:44

how about egg on toast 2.5? quick and easy - i like with ketchup so 3p in all

Disenchanted3 · 07/01/2010 10:46

Can you fry it if you use the 1% spray stuff?

I add half a point for brown sauce with my beans!

Kayzr · 07/01/2010 10:47

Nope no chance to eat at work. I work in a supermarket. I'm on the deli so I tend not to feel hungry at work. Probably because I work with food all day.

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/01/2010 10:49

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm - then if you have spare points, then do as you are doing and eat a mars bar

Disenchanted3 · 07/01/2010 10:51

Lol, a yogurt bar here.

Though DH has a tin of posh biccies and I was thinking of trying to work out the points for one, but I'd probably feel really crap after!

ABitOfPizzazz · 07/01/2010 11:01

I've gone down that road before, don't do it!!

I was like Bridget Jones, she stressed about weighing more in the middle of the night.

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/01/2010 11:04

DONT DO IT

i managed to avoid pizza last night

so you can ignore the biscuit

go and have a hot sugar free squash - sweet and hot

ABitOfPizzazz · 07/01/2010 11:12

Pizza is so hard to resist, Blondes, that's impressive.

I make pizzas from scratch, so if I've no mozzarella we don't have it.

So hard in this weather to stick with it, well done all.

Just since Monday, my waistband feel looser!!

Disenchanted3 · 07/01/2010 11:13

ermmm i did it

i was 13 l3bs 13 on these scales Sunday... and now 13 7 my scales are def fecked i need to get new ones ( my weight watchers weigh in came in at 13 7 so am going by that)

ABitOfPizzazz · 07/01/2010 11:23

Sure the scales at ww will reward you Dis. I know how hard it is to resist the temptation to jump on the scales.

Disenchanted3 · 07/01/2010 11:26

i dont belive ive dropped 6lbs at all, but as long as I've dropped something I'm happy. Going to bin these scales as they were so out anyways. May get some new ones though
