Hi girls sorry about all that you are going through derekofan it is a good idea to see the doctor so that you can get this issue cleared up it is not nice to be going through all of this loseing weight should not be affecting your work life like this. what other side effects are their .The lady from the courthouse clinic called me and the prices that they charge are the same as London when i go in on Wednesday i may ask them if i could have the treatments in London.

I went to the gym yesterday boy the work out with my instructor was tough i am enjoying it though. I no that i definitely need those fat treatments.

Just had a vanilla desert with coffee in, makes a lovely drink, really really enjoyed it (this is someone who drinks black coffee as well)

Can't get weighed as my scales battery is flat, got weighed Thursday morning though so will pop out to Boots today and get some new ones and get weighed in the morning.

Report
Friendlypizzaeater · 23/01/2010 10:47

I used a whole packet, made it up with 200ml water and poured it into a cup, used the beaker thing to make a strong black coffee (washing last bit of the vanilla out) and added to cup, stirred and really enjoyed !

Saw dr for review today and he has increased my salt tablets and told me to have 6 instead of 5 sachets a day as despite that being more calories it will make me lose weight more quickly because I have such a high metabolic rate. Had lost 5lbs since last Tuesday at my weigh in as well so I keep thinking that if I can put up with no sleep and all the peeing plus dizziness due to my blood pressure being too low for a bit longer I will get to my target. I need to lose another 5.3kg before I can go on to phase 2 so fingers crossed that that will not take any longer than 3 weeks! There are a lot of possible side effects to the programme including nausea, dizziness, lack of energy, skin rashes, hair loss and gallstones but they obviously don't affect everyone (gallstones is less than 1%) I'm getting used to which sacehts I like more now so it's easier to prepare for the day and order my sachets when I go to the clinic. Have had a few buffets and things at work where I've been there with a sachet and salad but I've not been too tempted! Could still kill for a sandwich, though!

Hi all,

Just booked my consultation, i'm going on 24th Feb so really excited now

Was told that after the doctor has seen me I can buy the supplements, starter pack and first week of food.
Has anyone else done this after the consultation without waiting for blood results?

Report
Friendlypizzaeater · 25/01/2010 16:35

I've now lost 1stone 6lbs in 31 days. Tizi, I picked up everything on my consultation day but didn't start the diet until a few weeks later as I wanted to get xmas out of the way. The Dr reviewed my latest bloods yesterday to identify any problem areas. I suffer from low BP anyway and this diet has lowered it further so my salt tablets have been increased to try to raise the BP. Not often you get told to increase the amount of salt you eat these days, is it?? Still felt nauseous yesterday but didn't actually vomit so I suppose that's one good thing! I have lost weight around my face but I'm still oddly in the same size clothes as before as the weight loss has been fairly evenly distributed so no one area has lost enough for it to be noticed yet. I certainly don't look any different in the mirror to myself yet. I think once my clothes become loose and I can start thinking about wearing jeans in the next size down I'll feel better and it will all be worth it - I hope! How's your fitness drive going, Kurves?

cenglish · 26/01/2010 11:20

wow derevkofan that is brilliant. hopefully the salt will help to regulate your BP.

Yesterday i drank most of my 2ltrs at work, and only had a small bottle of water for dinner and a green tea, so last night i didnt wake up to do my 3 toilet breaks.

Yes there is another thread somewhere. I lost 5.5 stone in a few months, now about 10 weeks off it and I've maintained. 2 of my friends are currently doing it - one just under 4 stone in about 3/4 months and one 3 stone in 3 months. Yes its bloody hard work and expensive but it works !

Hi everyone,

I am a new member, hope you are well. This diet is amazing by the sound of it. I pick up a leaflet on a easyjet flight. So far there has been so many positive feedback.

I am at my investigating process at the moment. I rang the clinic and I now have a booklet regarding the program. The price is the most shocking aspect of it all. £220.00 per week after paying after paying £120.00 for the consultation in advance, blood test is £97.20 and the first instalment is £386.00 .. then after £220.00 per week. The lady advised that I must have £1000. when I start the regim.

Any ideas how we can get this reduced or spread over a couple of months..

Good luck to everyone that has started the program. I have to loose 3 stones roughtly.

Hello, I was hoping someone can help. I have my first consultation booked for 2nd April (£120) in London. I have just over 4 stone to lose.
While I am happy to get the doctor to do blood tests, I alreadu know I have mild fatty liver as I had some tests done a couple of months ago.

Will this have any affect on me starting the Alizonne diet and therapy? I hope they don't turn me down!!
I also have a borderline BP (high). My diet isn't terrible but I think my metabolism is pretty slow. In addition I only started to gain weight when I was 12 after I was given steroids / cortisones to fight a serious illness. I've been well for many years but weight has yo-yo'ed from 10 to 15stone. Would like to get a handle on it once and for all.
Would like to try for a baby once healthier smile

Any advise, tips most gratefully received.

I went for my consultaion yesterday in London and have an appointment to start on the diet tomorrow, I am so excited!!! I am 15 stones and the Gp of Alizonne said they estimate that I could lose this in 22 weeks. They are extremely though with blood test etc I even had to put a contraption in my mouth to monitor my breathing for 10mins this the tells you what your calorie intake is. It is expensive but it will be worth it in the end as I have high blood pressure so need to lose the weigh. Let me know if there is anyone out there who is doing this diet also, it would be good for the support. x

Hello everybody,

I got so inspired by the posts on this blog that I went in for my consultation last week and started the Alizonne diet today. I have about 4 stones to lose and the doctor told me that it should take about 15 weeks based on my BMR.

This seems to good to be true, does it really work this way...can I really lose this much weight in just 15 weeks? I plan to exercise daily to speed up the process... has anybody seen better results incorporating exercise into the mix?

Please someone suggest good sachets, I hated the cappuccino this morning...eugh!

Cheers,
