I love SW wedges - so easy! Although the ones I had for lunch today could have done without the cajun seasoning.

Yes please grinningbee. Apart from the odd treat I tend to use my syns livening up my main meals. I'm hoping it'll stop me getting bored!

You can have cheese on toast from your HE's or syn the bread!

Lost 4lbs at first weigh-in today - I'm sure some of that will be water, but it's nice to start off well!

Ria and AuntieMaggie - are the wedges like the SW chips ie: parboil for 5 mins, then bake sprayed in FryLight?

the wedges I made today and yesterday I didn't bother parboil, just scrubbed the spuds, cut up and sprayed with fry-light. The potatoes were new potatoes though (reduced to 30p a bag in the co-op)

I went for my walk/run. My secret venue is great! DS2 insisted on coming with his bike though, which was a pain in the arse as he kept weaving in and out in front of my feet, and then fell off. I probably did a good 20 mins walking, and did 3 1 minute runs (I took the week 1 couch potato to 5k podcast on DS1s MP3 and did half of it, plus extra walking). Next time I am going on my own, no kids or bikes!

only trouble is I'm starving now, and one drawback of my location is the chinese restaurant...

SHR: Re: your scanbran - I don't think you have to have it - it's probably just to make up the allocated HEB allowance. I never have the scanbran with breakfast, though I save it for lunch some days or as a bed time snack with laughing cow light & tomatoes. If you don't go to class then you won't purchase it, so don't worry about it!!

HAven't read all the posts, will do so now.

HAve had the day from hell today, i'm lucky I haven't drowned in my own tears & ate myself silly! stressed up to the eyeballs.

Going out shortly, DH being a prat again - long story. Will try VERY hard to be good. (Am going to make my own sandwich, the rest of them can starve as far as I car)

and he is bloody well letting me out for a walk/run tonight too (I know I'm meant to rest a day between, but he's back to work tomorrow)

Wedges - sometimes I parboil sometimes I stick em straight in the oven - depends what I'm doing. They don't necessarily need the parboil IMO and only take about 1/2 hour at 200 degrees (depending on how well you like them done and how thick).

Ria - I live about 10 steps from the most gorgeous chinese take away - I can smell the chips from my house! And I have an indian a bit further the other side - not good!

Connie and Ria - Sorry you're both having a rough time

I haven't been to gym all week as my 'parter' is off sick (we usually go at lunch) must go tonight after work though and vibrate those pounds away!

Weigh in not til tomorrow but I already know I'm having egg and proper chips and a bar of chocolate after weigh in as I'm craving it something chronic. I also get paid on Friday so can go but some deliciousness to help me stick to plan next week. Although my cheap dinner last night was lovely - I stuck sweet chilli sauce in with my tomato pasta sauce I made and it was very nice. Spicy and a little sweet.

My trousers are looser and have managed to get into a pair that haven't fitted me for about a year - wahooo

my day OK, we went shopping with DHs DD. I bought the boys pizza hut express, though I had a little nibble. I blew it at teatime with a chicken mayo in McDs though (DH said they could have happy meals for tea as we were still out - I will have to give them wholesome veggie food tomorrow!)

haven't been out ofr my walk/run as am worn out from being nice.

I bought some linen trousers that I might wear for the wedding if they aren't too big.

Ria... read that last line back to yourself.... Doesn't that feel amazing???? A few months ago you'd have been trying clothes on hoping they wouldn't be too small!!! And now you're worrying they're too big - isn't that amazing!! good for you

I lost 2lb tonight - am pleased Though I did gain 1lb last week but that's it gone again with another one joining it!

Problem @work yesterday was sorted today thankfully, I can breathe easier.

I did something to my back today I stretched too far in my seat & my back popped, I can hardly move & am covered in deep heat cream. Am hoping a decent sleep will heal it a bit so I can get to gym tomorrow evening.

GB - well done on the 4lb!! That's excellent! And tits, well done girly

(I had to re-read my post then, I couldn't remember what I'd put and I thought you were going to tell me off for not being nice all the time) I suppose when I think about it, it is a good feeling, I'll be very chuffed if they are too big and I have to take them back, but I'll have to start again with the wedding outfit! Do you know what kind of trousers make your tummy look smaller - is it flat fronted?

ouch for your back. I was awake most of last night with pain in my back and hips. Think I will have to have some painkillers tonight.

I always thought it was high waisted but that could be crap - I never know, I usually just buy what fits & hope I don't look dowdy!

If I get time I will take a pic of the dress II got for my niece's wedding next friday, or maybe wait til after the wedding & get them on FB - you can see them there. AM dreading it tbh, I had been looking forward to it, but for some reason the excitement has left me & I wish it was all over.

Have had a treat or six tonight after WI so will face tomorrow with a clean start

Congratulations on all the weight loss ladies!

I've read the books, looked in the cuboards and I have nothing I can eat for breakfast or lunch tomorow. And I cannot shop until we get paid on Friday!

We have eggs, but I dont really like eggs. Maybe boiled but then I'd have to have bread.

Need to syn tomorrow as I normally have a coffee after toddler bounce and I don't really want to give that up - dd enjoys sitting at the table like a big girl, I'd feel mean not doing it. Have no idea how many syns that would be either.

So tomorow I think I'll be having a coffee for breakfast/lunch and fish pie for dinner

You don't need to syn coffee! Have a black coffee with a dash of milk at 1syn it in

I always have boiled egg mashed in a cup, without bread Maybe i'm a tad weird though????

Well done everyone on your weight losses it's really encouraging. I lost 5.5lbs this week, always more on your first week isnt it, so will be chuffed if i get the first half stone off by next week

puppy - can you have bread as a HE? or make an omelette. I find potato cubes fried in fry-lite with beans and a dry-fried egg a nice breakfast. or make eggy bread/gypsy toast or french toast (depending where you come from it seems!) with a HEB and some egg. you can make it a sweet treat with cinnamon and sweetner and some banana.

re the coffee - forgive me if I'm wrong, but can you have the milk as part of your HEA? I have been counting splashes of milk in tea/scrambles eggs as a HE. but I don't often drink milk on its own or eat cheese, so maybe I aren't having enough in the way of As?
