I keep not coming back to this. oops.
dotty yay.

I did my bmi wotsit on some site today and it turns out I am obese. I thought I was just over weight . denial?!

I need to stop scoffing crap snacking. when the biccies left in the house are gone then i'll start trying .

DottyDot · 28/06/2009 17:37

oh oh... Just back from a weekend with our wonderful friends but the only downside... She's a wonderful cook!

Last night we had the most amazing roast dinner (sigh) and today had full english breakfast (double sigh).

I'm attempting to gear myself up for a quick bike ride tonight, but I don't think a couple of miles cycling is going to save me from a fairly disastrous showing at the scales tomorrow!

DottyDot · 28/06/2009 19:21

(and did I mention the meringues with strawbs and double cream..?)

JackieNo · 28/06/2009 20:49

You're not alone, Dotty

DottyDot · 28/06/2009 22:59

still, I got out on the bike and did 4 miles - with hills (well, slopes) and everything!

am getting bizarrely addicted to cycling - possibly because it gets me out of the house at putting the boys to bed time..!

JackieNo · 29/06/2009 15:33

Very cunning . Must have been blimming hot though - it's roasting here today, and was v hot yesterday too.

DottyDot · 29/06/2009 21:26

Yes - very hot here and I cycled WW tonight and was probably not pleasant to sit next to at the meeting! Lost 0.5lb which is neither here nor there but was still kind of pleased given that I'd had a weekend of naughtiness!

Still, I wish I'd have not put on 3 stone over the past couple of years - especially in this weather where you just want to be as light and airy as possible...

Ho hum. And does the stress of watching Andy Murray play at the moment count towards exercise?!

JackieNo · 29/06/2009 21:29

Not sure, but it's definitely doing bad things for my blood pressure .

JackieNo · 29/06/2009 21:30

And any losss is good, so fantastic news.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 29/06/2009 21:37

I need to stop drinking white wine.

JackieNo · 29/06/2009 21:44

Could you do it as a spritzer, five? Cut the calories in half?

DottyDot · 29/06/2009 21:46

or switch to vodka and diet coke?! Ahem...

TigerFeet · 30/06/2009 09:51

I'm knackered today, I'm usually fast asleep by 10 but I stayed up to watch Andy and then I was too wired to sleep. I could have done with a nice cold V & DC

Am loving bacon butties atm [blsuh] which I suppose is an improvement on haribo. A nice man in a van comes round every day at work selling them. It ought to be banned. It's not my fault you see, the bacon butties. It's all down to the nice man and his van.

I've been feeling much better over the past week or so and am consequently permanently hungry. I need to stock up on fruit etc so I stop snacking on crap. I bought a salad for lunch yesterday but unfortunately it was slathered in mayonnaise... so much for retraining myself not to overindulge whilst I was ill

Glad you're feeling better though, TigerFeet, even if the bacon sarnies are your downfall .

I found it difficult to sleep last night, in the heat, and after all the Murray excitement - I was willing him to win or lose, so I could go to bed.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 30/06/2009 21:58

My baby boy is growing up, he did his first Independent Two Step Stagger today and then did it some more

JackieNo · 03/07/2009 17:03

Aaah bless, five - very exciting, but I understand the too. End of an era, isn't it.

Kewcumber · 08/07/2009 10:35

I have DS's first school (nursery) concert on Friday

JackieNo · 08/07/2009 15:02

Ooh - take loads of tissues - I find it's not just mine I cry at - I cry at everyone else's too . Hope it goes well...
