oh and as for the bikini, however much weight i lose, i've bloody awful stretch marks so i wont be subjecting anyone to my unsightly tummy, it looks like i've been badly burned or something,
any cures? apart from surgery that is!

fee77 · 10/06/2005 11:56

Well i am back from weigh in - 1 1/2 off!!! Yipee, that makes 22lbs all together - i got my 3rd silver 7, and my 10% key ring. And to celebrate i have just had 3 malted milks!
Despite the good news, i was fizzing at ww today. I walked past the hall at 9.20 (opens at 9.30) and there was a massive queue so i went to tescos first - got to ww at 9.55, and they were still queing out the door. One of the weighers was off sick - of course that is allowed, but the leader is standing round chatting to people. I do think when it is really busy she could ask people to wait to have a chat with her. It took 30 mins to get weighed - not much fun with a moany 20 mth old! Rant over!

I've been really pounding it at the gym - I just want to be at goal now!! Slightly bored of thinking about it all the time particualrly as my weightloss is so slow. Not thinking of quiting in case you are all worried, and am delighted with weightloss just wondering if at the end of this year I'll still be doing it and that depresses me slightly and then I think but am signed up to life really!! HUMMMMM shal I stop moaning!

fee77 · 14/06/2005 13:28

Keep at it ark!
I have had a major blip this weekend - i just couldn't be bothered eating properly, and i haven't filled in my tracker at all. I will try to get back on - 3 days till weigh in.
Lets have a round up of results shall we/ I need some positive vibes!
Was 14st 10lb, now 13st 3lb, total weight loss 1st 7lb. Clothes are baggy, my bum is perter and my boobs are shrinking! Goal weight 12st (at least)Next target is to get to 12st 7 for my holiday at the begining of august.

ark · 14/06/2005 17:20

Current weight 10st 4.5lb total loss 1st 6.5lb

I feel shopping comin on!

ark · 14/06/2005 17:22

oops next target 9st 11lb which would be at the top of my healthy weight range, also to drop 3% body fat and reduce my Hip to waist ratio .

Hello all,
Am new at this, you sound like a friendly bunch, can i join in?

mummyof3 · 14/06/2005 20:51

Well, where do i start?

I jumped on the scales on new years day 2005.... and then chucked them out of the window....
The scales said 13st... how can that be right?.. the last time i weighed myself i was 7.7st...back in '95, and before 3 kids... that's it i thought, i want to loose 1 stone for new year 2006, and so far i've lost 2st... with this amazing loss it has spurred me on to 1loose another 2st with the help of WW, am getting a bit ed up though now....and i need help

linnywith2 · 14/06/2005 21:52

hi all..
My stats: start weight 12-5, current weight 10-10 height 5"4".. Goal am.. am.. am.. 9st 11
there i've said it, thats what id like to weigh afraid if i say it i'll jinx it!!
well done fee77! you've got your third silver 7! am thrilled for you! have to apologise fee, when i last posted(just re-read it) i meant that "well done only 0.5 lb off"(your target of 21 lbs)it sounded a bit like i was saying you'd "only" lost 0.5,which i wasn't!
ark.. keep up the good work, you're doing brilliantly, weight loss prob slowin down a bit as youre turning fat into muscle which weighs heavier?Dior, that correct? correct me if im wrong! how did the class go btw? bet you sailed it?
welcome mummyof3, you're doing so well, keep up the good work and keep posting, you'll find it a great support, i know i do..

mandyc66 · 14/06/2005 21:54

you all sound sooo thin to me!!
Cant disclose my weight no one knows. Was feeling so good too as I have lost over a stone. so whats the secret girls...do tell!!

shelly24 · 14/06/2005 22:29

Hi,i'm new to this thread,am on a bereavement page at the mo as i recently lost a baby at 33wks,but decided to look around abit and came across this page.I had started up weight watchers in january 2004 at a whopping 16st 11lbs!! I was a size 22 and had had enough of cutting out the labels in my clothes and denying my weight prob..I managed to loose 5 stone by october of last year, taking me to 11st,11lbs and a size 12!!..i was extatcic!Literally weeks after i reached this weight i became preg, and am going though a bad patch right now,but have decided to get bk on track..i put 2 stone on over my pregnancy and would like to loose that b4 i get preg again.I think w.w is really good and i really enjoyed the meetings, although i've decided to do it alone this time around,as i know it works for me as i've done it before.....so if your trying really hard to get to target or are feeling that your not getting anywhere, keep at it,it really WILL pay off and your months of hard work realy will shine through in the end!!good luck to everyone.xx

mandyc66 · 14/06/2005 22:34

Wow you have done so well. sorry about your baby. Hope things work out ok. I seem to have stuck at this weight for a bit now! I wouldnt fit into a 12 at 11 stone 11lbs though!!

shelly24 · 14/06/2005 22:43

I was stuck at a size 14 for awhile, and was starting to get really stressed with it,so my team leader at the time suggested cutting my points down to the next weight bracket down, which was 20 points i think? And that seemed to work,i would have carried on losing i think if hadn't got preg.I wasn't worried so much about how much i weighed, just fitting into 'normal' clothes and being healthier,I'm 5"7ins and according to my prefered weight bracket would have to loose another stone or so,but people started to say i looked small enough and didn't need to loose anymore..i reckon people should stop when they feel comfortable with themselves..s.x

mandyc66 · 14/06/2005 22:46

I know what you mean. Not sure what my 'ideal' weight is. but its too thin for me!!
I would be happy in a comfortable 14

shelly24 · 14/06/2005 22:54

its funny i remember going down through all the sizes and thinking how wonderful it would be to be an 18,and then when i got there to be a 16,and so on,i'm back to a 16 now and was sorting out my wardrobe today and found all my small clothes..they look tiny!!!I kept saying to my husband,'was i really that small!?',i'm the kind of person who just has to look at chocolate and i put on weight!...always have been that way..so i started back up yesterday, did a big shop and bought lots of w.w's goodies and a little note book to write all my meals and points in!Am going to get bk on track!.x

mandyc66 · 14/06/2005 22:56

good luck with it!!!
I worry that whenI am thinner I will think I am thin but look a right site still!!!!

shelly24 · 14/06/2005 23:02

don't be silly,i'm sure you'll look fine!just make sure you don't go too far,and that when your happy with the way you look you'll stop, the weight side of it isn't an issue as long as your healthier and happier...i'm off to bed, will keep you informed of progress(if any!)..nite.x
