I have not been very well hence my lack of posting - good to see you are all still doing very well. Total weight loss is now 1stone 5lb it really is slowly coming off however all good! now weigh 10st 6 - have decided to go for a fitness test at the gym tomorro - as ww leader thinks would be worth looking at changing body shape and all that! Anyway - i'll keep you posted.

Hello, I hope you don't mind me joining your thread, I feel a bit like the new kid at achool here!! I've re-started WW (again) this week but am weighing myself at home.

My stats:
Start: 11 st 2.5
Goal: 10 st 7lb or less
Height: 5ft 5"

I did originally join when DS was 6 months old (now 22 mths) and was doing well at first but then got stuck for quite a while. Everyone told me that happens, but one day when I was having my favourite daily treat of 16 Mint Matchmakers I looked at the nutrition table on the box and worked out the points listing in the book was wrong. I e-mailed WW and they replied saying yes, the book we sold you should have said 1.5 not 0.5!!! No wonder they kept taking the £5 every week and I stayed fat!!!
Anyway, am checking things myself this time!!!

ark · 03/06/2005 10:20

Dior - well done that is fantastic , do you know where your meetings are yet? Good spots I hope. Did good aqua aerobics sesh lst night really scared about fitness test tonight coz technically still over weight - hope they will see how far I have come though!

BB&me, welcome - I got excited then about the matchmakers - however will now stear clear I am quite into curly wurly quite low point choc treat and if you freeze them takes longer to eat! Good luck for the week feel free to come and rant about food as and when you would like.

Hi everyone.. welcome bb&me
lost 1 lb this week, thrilled to bits after last weekends events, Dior, yes i've now got 3 siver 7's on my card, and so proud of them too!
am getting worried now tho as this has been the lowest weight i've ever got to on ww (usually have quit at this stage, having spent weeks at the same weight and getting mighty fed up) so im really on un chartered territory weight wise now Does that sound loopy? worried that weight loss will stop again?
anyway guess its all down to me and my will power now to keep going!
am finding the support on this thread in-valuble

discovered hellmans extra light mayo this week is that a god send or what??
Do any of you use George foreman grill?
Couldnt live without mine now, use it every day without fail
Glad to see you back ark.. hope you're well again

Linny! You have overtaken me with silver 7s!! right am gonna lose 2lb this week to get my third!

Fitness test at the gym was really good as it has shown that I am changing my body shape. % body fat is 31% which is healthy! whay. I am going to work on my hip to waist ratio. Amusingly my flexible reach is one of the best in the gym! Its 33cm beyound the end of my toes! Its really spurred me on and will make me go to gym another 8 times so i can have another! + gym instructor is so cute!

Have good week - have a busy one myself but hope to pop in soon!

Hi everyone! I am back from a distasterous weekend away - how many points in a trip to pizza huts ice cream factory? I only went up once, but then kept nicking dh's!!! And i had pizza as well, and not their "light" version! Oh and i managed to knock back a bottle of wine (over two nights i hasten to add). But against all that i wasn't very well on friday so i missed 2 meals, so there is hope for the weigh in on friday! And i have just got in from tescos with a tonne of fruit and veg - salad every night i think!
My hot tip of the week is, if you "need" an ice cream, go for Solero red berries, it is really scrummy and only 1 1/2 pts!

Hi i'm new on here just wanted some help and motivation. Started WW back in april and have lost 19lbs up untill 2 weeks ago, when my sister stopped doing it with me. Since then i have gradually gone back to all my old eating habits i keep on saying i will go to a meeting next week and i never go. I have now missed a total of 3 meetings and i am way of track.

PLEASE HELP!!!

eidsvold · 08/06/2005 07:11

haven't been here for ages - am still doing ww but after a disasterous two weeks on holidays (despite walking everywhere and doing almost 20 000 steps a day) and weaning dd2 - i have packed on a bit of weight and am annoyed at myself. HOWEVER am determined to do this and so will just start back getting sorted again. Have gone back to the menu idea where dh and I decide our meals for a week in advance. Just need to empty the cupboards of junk - although we have soo little junk food. I just seem to be craving chocolate at the moment.

Hard to decide how many pts to have now I am weaning dd2 - she is having breastmilk and solids. According to the lactation book I am to have 30 points now that dd2 is being weaned but I think it might be too much.

Oh well tried to get back on track this week - don't think it has been successful - but will know tonight.

WIll have to keep popping back here for support - am not able to stay to the meetings at the moment. Hopefully in a couple of weeks things will settle down and I can attend the meetings again.

eidsvold · 08/06/2005 11:55

well am back on track - thank goodness 0.7kg this week.

fee77 · 08/06/2005 13:23

Well done eidsvold! Not sure what that is in lbs, but it sounds good. I would definately recommend the meal planning - i do it every week. Sunday i plan through till friday, then depending on my weigh in i can chose nice things for the weekend! Do WW support you through pregnancy? I am losing weight ready for baby no 2 as i had bp problems last time.
Welcome virgofox - everyone is very supportive here. I hope you manage to get back to the meetings. I purposefully never start meetings or exercise classes with friends, as if they wimped out i would too! Plus i am a billy no mates!
Dior - i hope it all goes well for you, like every job, once you get in to the swing of things it will all become easier and quicker.

fee - i was doing ww in the Uk when I fell pregnant with no2. I think you can attend up to 12 weeks ( if I remember correctly) and then could return again after the baby was born. As we were leaving the area soon and then the country I did not go into any more information as I figured I would worry about it after dd2 was born. I think you could still attend meetings but couldn't weigh - I guess.

Even though I stopped - tried to keep eating healthily and in the end only put on ( other than baby and such weight) 3 kgs - about half a stone.

I know with breastfeeding you get extra points and they provide suggestions where to add those points - that is - what sort of foods to have extra of. WHen dd2 was exclusively breastfed - I was on 32 points.

ark · 09/06/2005 13:54

well I nearly did it!! Lost 1.5lb this week total loss now 1st 6.5lb - bother!! However all good coz was really thinking had actually gained!! I think we are all doing stormingly well - is it bikinis all round this summer???

fee77 · 09/06/2005 13:58

Well done ark - i am at 1st 61/2 too - till tomorrow. Have i managed to undo the damage caused by the ice cream factory?
No bikinis here, i am still a big girl! But i am feeling really good, and have gone down a notch on my belt!

linnywith2 · 09/06/2005 22:38

hi everyone..
lost 1 lb this week making total so far 23lbs
have had a crazy week, dad in law passed away on sun, very sad occasion for us all but managed not to comfort eat for the first time ever!
dior, unsure what my goal weight is, when i joined, leader set it at 10-6,now im 10-10 it seems likely that i will reach that, but id like to get to 9-11 eventually, im 5'4" so ideal weight for height is between 8-5 and 10-6.
what goal weight would you set for me if i was in your class?or is it really up to me?
ark.. only 0.5 off eh! you'll definetly get your 3rd silver 7 next week, well done!!
