the makeup thing works ok, til you go out in the rain (yes, I did the morning school run "properly turned out") and your mascara runs!

FiveGoMadInDorset · 19/01/2009 16:38

Hello ladies

Sorry I haven't been on in a while but well done on everyones weight loss. I don't think this week will be much as am due and tend to stay/put on but never mind.

Love the idea of going out in full warpaint but there is no one to see, except the sheep in a few weeks.

RIAchforthestars · 19/01/2009 16:48

how I wish there were only sheep round here (although some days...)

jaz236 · 19/01/2009 21:03

its doesnt matter if u only see sheep all day its the point of feeling good about yourself trust me it works!! do different colours of eyeshadows etc - and im telling u when u go out u will look amazing coz uve been doing it all the time in the day and will have immaculate make up on!!

mac and barry m are my fav - and on special days when ur feeling really down get the old siren red lippy on!!!

and when u shower get some rich gorgeous nice smelling body lotion, this is all if u have time by the way - but u will even feel even more better as ur smelling gorge and looking hot hot hot ladies!!!

RIAchforthestars · 19/01/2009 21:35

I'm only doing a tiny bit of tinted moisturiser mixed with ordinary moisturiser (but that's something I don't usually use), eyeliner, mascara and lipgloss, perfume if I remember. I like a nice hot bath with sanctuary stuff in, but DH keeps nicking it.

My mum made a resolution one year to wear different earrings every day. (she hasn't got a pair for every day of the year BTW, just swaps them round). It made her feel good.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 20/01/2009 08:27

Well that is another 1lb gone, which I am pleased about as I drank far to much alcohol this past week and my period is due.

jaz236 · 20/01/2009 08:38

well done 5go mad, right im going to do the earrings thing aswell, although i tend to like pat butcher type ones but have a little one around who will pull my ears bohooooo!

been on the steper everyday and can see a difference my waist is slowly coming in - wohoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

have u tried that sanctuary facial oil, i bought it and its menat to brighten the whole of your face can really see it - but im persisiting amongst the huge bags im carrying under my eyes ha x

hope u all have a good day ladies!!

jaz236 · 20/01/2009 13:37

I have decided that oranges are tastier than satsumas.

RGPargy · 21/01/2009 22:28

Well my birthday cake was horrible! it was very dry and pretty much stale so i'm getting DP to take it back to Asda tomorrow when he does the weekly shop (yes, really! ). They have a refund and replace policy so we might end up getting another cake for free lol

OP posts:
RIAchforthestars · 21/01/2009 22:31

LOL RG, if he lays it on really thick about how it spoilt your party for everyone etc, you might get something else too

shame your birthday was tainted though. Hope you have had a good day. Did MIL arrange you a big surprise then, or was it just a random comment she made last week?

stillenacht · 21/01/2009 22:33

woohoo - have lost 4 lbs since Saturday (i know its gonna slow down but i couldn't resist looking at scales this morning!)

FiveGoMadInDorset · 21/01/2009 22:33

Happy Birthday RG it is my DD's today as well, just had my parents to tea. DH's is on Sunday.

RGPargy · 21/01/2009 23:19

Ria - yes i've told DP to lay it on thick and to bring back the chocolate cake instead haha!! Alas, it was just a random comment she made I had no surprises or anything lol. We were meant to be going out for a meal tonight but DP suffers from IBS now and then and unfortunately the last couple of days have been bad for him. Hopefully we might get to go on Saturday instead and there's even talk of DD staying OVERNIGHT with MIL!!

Stillenacht - woohoo well done!!

Five - Happy birthday to your DD and to your DH for Sunday!

I know how you feel dilemma. The only thing stopping me is the grill pan is soaking and I don't like fried bacon!
DH has had his day off cancelled so at least we can't go out for breakfast.
